I had an older Chromecast and upgraded to a newer one, but kept the older adapter. I kept getting a message on screen stating I was connected by Ethernet. It would appear every few minutes and be on screen for about 10 seconds. Very annoying. My older adapter was rated to 100mbs, but my Internet speed was over 300mbs. So I ordered this to see if it was the problem, and it was! No more messages on screen! Great product and quick delivery as well.
