Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Sports Bra

Absolutely brilliant bra, especially for women who feel very conscious about themselves whilst exercising such as myself. Being on the plus side this bra has given me the confidence to run and lose weight without worry. This keeps the girls in place, reduces bounce by a large amount, and so worth the investment. This bra is very comfortable, the strap adjustment design in fantastic, it can make your shoulders ache after prolonged use a little at first but just readjust until find the right length for you! The breathable material reduces that uncomfortable sweaty feeling that you get in most other bras, the Cross back design helps to keep everything in place. The only thing I would say is it can be difficult to put on, but after a bit of practice it’s worth it. This bra has changed my life.

It's hard to find A cup sports bras esp for running and this fits the bill. Ok, it's pretty tight in order for it to actually work but not unpleasantly so. I ordered my usual band and cup and even a bigger band which I returned. The hold is the best I've felt. The only downside is the clasp/closure which is a touch on the tricky side but then if you have dodgy shoulders, you probably shouldn't be running anyway! It's a 2-part clasp and hook (somewhat fiddly to fasted as its in the centre of the back) but it does mean no wrestling off a sweaty tight bra over your head. I will wait for the sale and buy another one at some point. Oh, and the colour is nice and not boring black!

Before buying those Ultimate Run Bras I used to wear Nike sports bras, but then as my long runs got longer I started to get chafing. I ordered my first Shock Absorber one from a department store but returned it as I couldn't put it on. A week later I went back to the same department store where they offer a bra fitting service and asked them what size I should buy. The lady explained that sports bras and everyday bras can be different in fit and size, and that I had actually bought the wrong size. She picked the correct size for me and once I had it on helped me adjust the straps. I said I found it tight and she replied that it was a sports bra and that it was meant to be. I'm really glad I bought it in the end! It's really comfortable to run with, I don't get any chafing at all any more or unpleasant bouncing. They wash well as well. One tip : once the straps are adjusted clip them together before putting the bra on. The clip again doesn't need to be undone when taking the bra off. I rotate between 3 of them and change the lot once a year.

I'm read the reviews about how small the band on this bra fit. But, my typical size of 30E was £10 cheaper than the other sizes. So, I thought that SURELY it can't be THAT small. Anyways - I like a more snuggly fit bra and sometimes even wear a 28F! Boy - was I wrong! Like others have said - the band is ridiculously undersized for the size stated. I actually COULD get the bra hooked on the last hook - but it took a heck of a lot of muscle and if I were to attempt a run, I'd probably collapse because breathing wouldn't be an option. It was so tiny that I exchanged for 2 band sizes up, 2 cup sizes down - so a 30E to a 34D. It's a massive improvement! I can very easily hook this one on the smallest hook, so I likely should have gone with a 32DD, instead. But, it feels secure enough and it's not as if I have a massive chest to support. All in all, now that I've found a more appropriate size - I'm happy with my purchase. It seems like a quality item and although I haven't taken it for a run so to speak, I think it will keep everything where it needs to be. Just don't be a fool like me and ignore all the reviews that say this thing runs SMALL!

This bra is the best sports bra I have ever bought. An excellent product, gives fantastic support where you need it, compressing you so you suffer non of the pain when running unlike other sports bras I have used in the past. It can be a little tricky to put on at first but I found that if I kept the top fastening done up and put it on over my head before fastening it at the back it was easy enough.

Cup size fine, back band was way off . Wouldn’t even meet round my back to fasten. Had to return

Previously I'd bought the Shock Absorber Max Support bra because it's what I first used, i knew how it worked and it did the job. Then I came across this one, and as I run once a week, I thought I'd give it a try, especially as I was due to replace a sports bra and I do have ample chest that needs to be controlled. There's an additional hook at the back, I presume this is for if you're wearing racer back tops? I wasn't sure if I'd need it or be able to hook it myself as I have a problem with one of my arms, but I was able to do it with no problem. Took it for a run and it was just as good as my usual Max Support bra, plus I loved the colour. Still early days, I'll see if it's still as good a couple of months from now

This is a great support sports bra… as long as you have someone else to do it up for you. I’ve burned loads of calories trying to do it by myself. I’ve tried over the head with the upper clasp already done up, but it’s really difficult to grab both sides of the back strap, as they’re under stretch forces. Also, when running, the strap hooks can suddenly unhook, and there’s no way you’re going to ever be able to reach that while you’re out and about. Suggest you tape them in place with duct tape.

Auch bei einer sehr großen Brust (75 F - G) wackelt und hopst beim Joggen nichts! Sitzt wie angegossen und hält alles da wo es hin gehört. Allerdings färbt er am pinkfarbenen Teil etwas ab.

Just a tad on the small size. I'm still keeping mine. Holds everything tight and secure. Very comfortable, (even with being a bit small)

Der Shock Absorber wurde sofort beim Laufen getestet und entspricht ganz den Erwartungen. Er ist gut verarbeitet, drück nirgendswo, Schocks werden abgefedert. Dieser ist mein zweiter Sport BH dieser Marke und ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen.

Passform wie erwartet, super Sitz, hoher Tragekomfort. Es wackelt nix. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen. Kanne ich nur weiter empfehlen und bei amazon noch günstiger wie im Sportgeschäft.

I just tried it out on a 17-mile run. Pretty good support for a 36F girl but even better is there was no chafing!
