CASTELLI Men's Entrata 2 Short

I really like these shorts. Couple of things to consider, Euro brands tend to be tighter so I would size up which I did. Fit was perfect after sizing up. The waist band is a little noticeable compared to other brands but not uncomfortable. I can just feel it a bit more when riding. The chamois is really good. I also like the length is a tad bit longer which I prefer. I'm so happy that after a few rides I ordered another pair and will likely order more.

This is a great cycling short from Castelli. I know own four of these. They do run a little small for the typical USA sizes, but once I found the size that fits me, I was in. The pad is in the right place. The shorts stay put on the waste and I do not have to pull them up every time I stop. They feel fine on long rides. I have done a few century rides and even without shammy cream, they do not chafe.

I really find that these shorts are super comfortable and fit really well now that I found the right size. Perhaps it's an Italian thing, but I needed two sizes larger than what I would've expected. So don't be concerned if you get that wrong the first time to send them back and get the next size larger. while the padding and material quality seem to be superb, I do wonder since I have less expensive shorts that these are quite pricey for them what they are I wanted to try them to see if they were really that good. And yeah, I think that the real telling will be in how the fit for a long ride and over a long period of time how they hold up to laundering you certainly can buy two other brands for the price of this one so I give it four stars, instead of five because of value for the price.

First ride 95 miles, comfortable the entire ride. Noticed slight chaffing day two for an additional 40(different shorts) Shorts are long, more suitable for taller riders. Waist is accurate, measure with soft measuring tape.

Only brand I buy now. Best quality and comfort. European cut, so buy once size up of you are American, but other than that, great!

I did three rides, covering about 150 miles in total. I tried a four-hour ride and felt some minor soreness, but it was acceptable. I wasn’t planning to return it, but after today’s 30-mile ride, I noticed a loose thread. My previous $20 cheap one lasted 5,000 miles without a single loose thread—so I returned it.

Excellent shorts for riding. I can do a 4&1/2 hour ride with them without any discomfort. Only thing is you will need to get one size up. I am 160lbs, 5’7” with a 30” waist. It is recommended I buy a small, but experience with other Castelli pieces I know I have to get one size up with Medium. With this brand, it is worth the $$$, as I’ve tried the other low end brands on Amazon in the $40-$60 range, but they do not hold up comfort wise to longer rides past 2 hours. Go with a trusted name like Castelli and not have to worry about comfort on the longer rides.

Similar quality to my 2 yr old DHB shorts, pad felt slightly firmer by comparison and same level of comfort. Don't see how they are so much more expensive.

Geliefert wurde per DHL und war 3 Tage früher geliefert worden als angegeben. Es stellt sich die Frage für wen die Größe S in der Praxis passt? Denn welche Figur müsste man haben, wenn man sich an die Größenangaben des Herstellers hält, dann wären noch zwei Größen kleiner gewählt werden müssen. Größe S ist und wirkt sehr komprimierend bei keinem Kängurubauch bis gar keinem Bauch. Alles was leichter als 60 Kg ist, für den entfällt hier die Größe S. Material und Sitzpolster machen einen sehr guten Eindruck. Es entsteht nicht der typische Entenwatchelgang oder "Windelträger". Besser sind bei dem Modell Castelli "Entrata 2 shorts men" mindestens eine bis zwei Nummern Größer zu wählen.

Passt einmalig gut. Super dünn, exzellenter Tragekomfort. Perfekte Funktionskleidung. Typisch Castelli 👍👍
