Thinking 2 birds one stone!** A: Not with mine, I had to buy the fence clips as well **Q: We have very rough knobbly 4 inch posts do you think they would fit over them?** A: No posts are exactly cast with smooth edges and to 4” wide, you may need to carefully chisel any high spots from the post edges so that the clips slide over. I had to do this it wasn’t a major issue but be prepared, although you could be lucky - you could make a dummy cardboard template before you buy to see if you need to clean up your post edges. **Q: Do these just slip over the fence post? What stops them failing down?** A: The hook screws in to tighten against the concrete post.
