A wonderful and informative book for those who like the medieval era.

Christmas gift for my 8 yo son who’s obsessed with fantasy and all things books. He loves the pictures and shares all of the interesting facts with us. This addition to the eyewitness books doesn’t disappoint and I’ve loved this series and DK books in general since I was a child.

Perfect book for anyone interested in Castle life - lots of facts pictured and explained.

I know these types of books are meant for kids, but adults can enjoy and learn from them as well. This book illustrates and describes different types of castles and the importance of different aspects of castle structure and life. A great addition to any collection.

The book is excellent in its content; however, although it was advertised as "new," it arrived with the cover damaged (it was gouged and peeling) and the seal for the DVD was broken as if someone opened it already.

As usual, DK A beautifully illustrated book with solid content. My eight-year-old was excited to get it for Christmas.

We gave our child the first book at age-5 (now 8). Remember buy the most current revision that has the CD library attached at the right upper hand corner of the book.

My nephew is in the Peace Corps in Liberia. This is for his high school age students there.
