I have gone through multiple heated throws and blankets over the past 5 years. This brand is by far the best. The size is true to a twin size. Heat level could be a bit hotter but it is very warm. No bad smell coming out of the package, easy to plug in. So soft and cozy!! It feels so well made and durable.

So I caved in and ordered this right before the big snowstorm that passed through, and let me tell you, this is probably the best purchase I've made in a while. I don't even need to turn up the temperature on it or adjust the timing - by default, I let it run on the lowest power setting, and after 8 hours it shuts off. I simply lay it on top of all my other covers and it helps keep the heat in. The blanket itself is soft, light, and machine washable too. I have a queen-sized bed, so originally I was going to get a queen sized blanket, but opted for a twin size blanket instead. Really I just needed something to lay over the top of my bedding, and not actually tuck into the bed itself. It's wide enough to cover the bed itself, and more than long enough to drape down the foot of the bed. I'm glad I went a size down; a queen-sized blanket would have been overkill for me. All in all, definitely worth the price for this and future winters.

One of my all time favorite Amazon Black Friday finds. This years went to my 90 year old Mom. I have mine laying on my chair so I can turn on the heat for my back and hips. Beautiful and soft it has a timer and heat level. Mine is always on high. I use it about 4-6 hours everyday and have had it a year and 5 months. So durable, easy to wash (I never use the heat for a day to be sure it's dry as I am paranoid. Love the weight. Great to get under when needed.

I bought this to use on my king size bed during cold nights. I was looking for a way to sleep better (warmer) without cranking up the thermostat for the whole house. It fits on my 1/2 of the bed, perfect width wise but its just a little short on the length but overall does the job. It has multiple heat and time settings as well as a 3 hr timer. One hour before bed, I set the heat at 3 and the timer at 3hrs, after 1 hour i slip into a cosy warm bed. Once in bed it stays on for another two hours while I am sleeping then shuts off and between the blanket and my body heat I sleep perfectly. It was -5 (F) here at night outside and it did the trick. I would buy it again - It addressed the problem I was trying to solve. Also it exceeded my safety concerns with respect to the electrical testing. I rarely give 5 stars so this is a top rating for me!

Uses around 100W of power at max setting. In fact, most settings draw about the same and there are not very big differences in them. I was initially disappointed in the heat output of the blanket at first like some others. It's been decades since I've owned an electric blanket so regulations have obviously changed. My guess is that most other blankets produce the same amount of heat by regulation alone. I can tell you it absolutely hasn't been a problem. I sandwich the blanket between a similar sherpa blanket and a merino wool blanket, followed by a comforter. Beneath me, is another sherpa blanket. This is so the electric blanket isn't making direct contact with the skin on my body and allows me to wash it much less frequently if at all during the winter. I use it primarily to pre-warm my bed, which sits next to an open window in the dead of winter (I close it when I sleep). Between the sherpa blankets and the electric on top, the heat easily makes its way through and fully warms the entire bed. Despite my initial disappointment, I usually can't make it 2 hours without having to turn it off, so I usually set the timer to 2-3 hours instead of 8 on the setting of 6. I am a cold sleeper (need a lot of warmth) and while I could get by without this, this is just so much better on top of the sherpa sandwich I get into at night, especially for my feet. I have tried just a heating pad before but those tend to bunch up under the blankets over just a few days. The twin size fits well and has decent overhang. I have not had to wash it yet. The texture on its own is very warm and comfortable.

I purchased two of these throw blankets for my kiddos. We live in Florida but we keep our house pretty cool. The blankets are so soft and have remained soft even after washing them. The remote controls are easy to use and we love the timer feature! The blankets are a good size for both kids and adults. We appreciate the range of temperatures available. We will be purchasing more of these for other areas of our home.

Plush, thick, and quality blanket. Perfect size for cozy evenings on the couch. The control has several heat settings as well as a timer. It’s my favorite purchase in a long time.

Great blanket/throw with even comfortable heating - this is second bedsure heated blanket we have now as others brands have proven to be cheap with tiny uneven heating areas only. Would recommend if you want a cozy nights sleep or a cozy time on couch watching tv!

This blanket was a life changer for me. It has everything you need. Lightweight, 10 hour setting, 6 heat levels, long cords. I ordered a twin size for my queen bed. It fits the top portion of the bed perfectly. I have heat all over the bed. My room is super chilly (over the crawl space in a century old farmhouse) I have been using the number 2 setting and this is more than adequate. I love it so much I’m buying one for my daughter.

So far, so good. I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. The one she had previously was very rough, and you could clearly feel the wiring through the fabric. With this one, you can still feel the wiring slightly, but the material itself is quite soft and much more comfortable. It is machine washable, which is a big plus. Overall, this was a significant improvement over her previous one, and we’re very pleased with the upgrade.
