Eurosuture - Skin Closure, Hypoallergenic, Reinforced, Round Ends, 1/2 x 4 inch, 12 Strips per Box

I purchased these a few years ago for my emergency medical kit. They have been in a box a couple of years. I recently underwent surgery and found myself in need of these to approximate/close a couple of chest wall wounds which opened slighly after first post-op home shower. I patted the skin dry and these went on smoothly. They breath and have excellent adherence - even after wetting in shower again a couple more times. They worked beutifully and come off easily with gentle traction if need to remove. They just work. Excellent product.

These are absolutly great for wound closure. I had cut myself right across the back of the knuckle. I considered including photo but its probably too graphic because you can see the knuckle bone and tendon popping out... but... i applied a couple of these strips. And when i went to urgent care the next day i was actually complimented on my application of first aid about 5 times. Once these are applied they hold VERY tightly. I was asked " did you super glue these on?" Haha. They just work. A must have for any first aid kit.

I ordered knowing these were white. I do wish they sold a flesh colored strip in this width and length, they would have been absolutely perfect. Using to cover stitches. Very happy to have the area covered and better protected so it can heal. Updated to add, it leaves a very strong sticky adhesive residue that is difficult to remove. Otherwise, they adhere well and function as intended.

A must have for any serious survival or personal stitching for emergencies. My son had a two inch long cut about a 1/3 inch deep on the meaty part of his palm. A real bleeder and quite painful. With triple AB these held very well & kept his cut completely shut even though he’s a busy 12 year old. He has no visible scar 6 months later. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to avoid a costly ER visit when the cut is superficial. I wish I had had these much earlier. Have used them twice with excellent outcomes. You can double up on the tear if needed. They stuck very well. In my son’s ex. Above they held for 3 days and we reapplied them for 2 more. By then he only needed a bandaid.

I was skeptical that I'd really get 500 of these suckers for under $8, but I did! I'm stoked! I sliced my finger open on a carabiner (apparently they can be sharp) putting up some gym rings. I had a micro mend bandage (little staples with a clear bandage) but to be honest I would not pay for that again. The staples bothered my finger with everything I did, and when I took it off after 2.5 days it was still wide open. It couldn't breathe and heal at all. These are super breathable, and I've washed my hands several times since putting it on a couple hours ago and it's not soggy or falling off. Perfect! I've never tried steri strips but the cost of these is way way better (30 steri strips at the drug store was $16, I decided to use a bandaid and wait a day till these came in). Anyway, now I have enough of these to last a good long while and stock up all our first aid kits. Highly recommend!

I purchased this product after cutting my finger and visiting urgent care. They initially recommended and provided the 3M version of these, however, Amazon was sold out. These are extremely sturdy and great quality, however, it sticks to the wound and tears it open once you go to remove it. I ripped my scab off the very first time I went to change the dressing. I’d recommend going with the 3M strips if you have the option; they don’t stick to the wound!

These little strips are actually a life saver, especially when you have a little puppy with shark teeth! The top of my hand got ripped open, and 3 of these held it closed for almost 2 weeks!!

These work in place of hospital stitches on deeper cuts that might have needed a trip to the hospital. Of course you have to use common sense and take a precautionary approach to your judgement on this! A severe wound should always be seen by a medical professional. However, provided you clean the area very well before using, these strips will quite effectively close a wound and keep it closed for 1-2 weeks. After that they start to curl and detach on their own so that they eventually fall away. They have already saved me two trips to the emergency room and I won’t leave home without them now. Absolutely brilliant.
