REAL HONEY AT LAST
This is the best honey I have ever purchased. The colour is quite deep and rich, it has superb 'runniness' and seems to WANT to be drizzled onto anything from toast to porridge to [my favourite] into a pot of Greek yoghurt. The flavour is amazing, the smell seductive. When I put it into my Greek yoghurt it begins to rapidly crystalise around the edges which is a fantastic indicator that it is indeed proper raw honey as the fake stuff doesn't crystalise. But this process gives a lovely additional texture to the dish! The packing is superb as it comes in its own 'tailor made' foam box obviously created specifically for the product protecting it from any bangs and knocks in transit. Drawbacks? It's so beautiful that 1 kilo is just not enough! The jar half empty after one week! I keep going back to it and feel like I am rapidly morphing into Winnie the Pooh! I will be ordering more, lots more! There is no doubt that I will be a regular customer of this supplier and brand! I think I need a Greek Desserts cookbook now!!!

Real Greek honey!
I ordered this, as honey is one of the things you don't want to risk the quality and to have a little taste of home. This is beyond any doubt the real deal! It has the colour, taste and texture it should for a quality pine honey. I've seen some other reviews mention that it has an 'iodine' taste they don't like, but what you should remember is that 1. iodine is essential for our body and 2. this honey is from Thasos island, therefore it will naturally have a subtle iodine undertone. Highly recommend it if you like pine honey!!

"Nectar of the Gods" this Honey.
This is without doubt the best and tastiest honey I have ever used. it is very dark in colour and extremely rich tasting. The consistency is perfect for spreading on toast etc. The secret of the uniquely incredible taste is due to help from an insect called Marchalina Hellenica (a honeydew-producing insect which infests pines) which helps the bees produce the honey. I have no hesitation in recommending this superb product for a unique taste experience, and I shall certainly be reordering soon, as this jar is not going to last long, because it is truly delicious. Buy some now!!!.

Strong flavour but very tasty
I've tried several of the Meli Serron honey varieties. All are very good quality mediterranean products. The pine honey is darker with a stronger taste than the blossom and pine variety. Both very good and tasty on bread and as sweetener

The Real Thing
Dark, luxurious pine honey, not too sweet, absolutely fantastic with strained Greek yoghurt and extra cream. Pine honey is made by taking bee hives into the Mediterranean conifer forests, where the bees collect the resinous secretions from the trees. The honey acquires an amazing pine flavour: quite simply the best honey in the world. If you want the authentic matching yoghurt to go with this fabulous Greek honey, look no further than the "own brand" products in your local supermarket. For some bizarre reason, major retail stores are stocking real Greek yoghurt, made in Greece, under their own label rather than the Greek brand name. It is easy to spot the authentic product: it has been strained to reduce the water content, so it has a much a firmer consistency than the imitation brands, and declares about 6.5% protein and 10% fat on the label. Top with Meli Serron pine honey for a deeply satisfying real Greek breakfast...

Premium Greek Honey โ Highly Recommended
Iโm very impressed with the quality of this Greek honey. The taste is rich, smooth, and wonderfully natural, with a lovely aroma that makes it perfect for toast, yogurt, or simply by the spoonful. You can really tell itโs a premium product made with care. The packaging was also excellent. The jar arrived securely packed, with plenty of protection to ensure it reached me in perfect condition. Everything looked clean, professional, and well-presented. Overall, this is a delicious, high-quality honey that exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Greek honey. I have also tried the wildflower/thyme one from the same producer and it was great too
