I mainly use the noise cancelling, but the transparency setting is great as a woman walking alone as it plays whatever you are listening to, but also amplifies sound around you, so you can hear people speaking or movement, keeping you safe and aware. You also have an adaptive setting, so it changes depending on the noise around you, but I haven't used that much. COMFORT I am very fussy with comfort (neurodivergent) and also normally have real issues keeping inner ear buds in my ears, but these I barely notice, they fit so well. I where them several hours every day, at least. You get four choices of bud sizes. They come with the medium ones attached and have extra small, small and large in the box. I use the small ones. BATTERY LIFE Seems great to me. I haven't timed any of the charges, but I am sure I have only charged the case about once a month. The buds themselves seem to last and last and get topped up from the case every time they go away. The case has a little sound when you close the lid, when it is lower on charge, so you never get caught out. This update was waiting and took 15 minutes to install, also gives you adaptive anc option, but I just have plain anc on. 3 hours of listening at 70%volume, aac codec, anc on and the buds are at 81%!!! That is simply mental battery life. 5 band eq, several presets, I chose "balanced" preset and just tweaked the bass up a little. I can not over emphasise how great these sound, these are going to be goto pair from now on. Twist fit works perfectly, upped the tips to the large and you literally don't know you're wearing them, superb. Tap controls are faultless. It takes a lot to impress me. But Google, you have played a blinder with these beauties. Wireless charging on my galaxy duo charger works perfectly. Paid Β£144 new on desertcart black Friday, but at the normal Β£219 these are still worth it. Mind blown! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not a complete solution for athletes *by W***G on 4 February 2026* Google Pixel buds pro are the best listening experience I have encountered although the noise suppression in the lower frequencies is not as good as the previous set I had from 4 years ago. They integrate well with voice assistant through your android phone and fit your ear without protruding so you can wear them comfortably under for instance your ski helmet and take calls in difficult conditions without hassle.
