Super soft and sturdy at the same time, thus making picking up the makeup, application and blending SUPER easy and effective. Its flat surface makes dabbing motion really easy and time saving. It is slightly hard than the beauty blender, but thats what I love about this sponge. The beauty blender feels kinda flimsy due to its bouncy feel. It gives an almost identical finish to that of beauty blender's. Slightly bigger, retains a bit more water and absorbs more product compared to beauty blender. But who cares when you get such an amazing product at 1/3rd the cost of beauty blender?! I would definitely recommend. :)

this is just an amazing alternative to face makeup brushes. it is pretty much everything you want to blend your makeup in. For blending my foundation i use the bulged edges and it provides a fantastic finish to the skin and gives even application. For concealer i use the pointed tip and it just blends it like a dream. i use dabbing motions instead of rubbing. And i also make sure to use the sponge damp. I have been using this for almost 3 months now and its still going strong.

I bought this sponge from the seller MakPro for 550, and it was delivered to me yesterday. Put it through all sorts of tests to check if this is the real deal: is soft, expands when wet, retains its shape quickly when squeezed, does a beautiful job in blending liquid foundation. Washed it with face wash and warm water, and the foundation stains vanished fairly completely. I have not tested this dry, though. After the wash, I kept it on the dresser, on a sheet of newspaper to dry. I must mention that it takes a long time to dry, but might be a winter thing. However, today I saw it was missing, and panicked. Found it in the balcony. Best guess: my dog thought it was a chew toy and took it to play in the sun. I was apprehensive because Avisha has some notorious jaws; nothing comes back in one piece from her mouth. But surprisingly the sponge survived majesticaly. Attached is the picture of the sponge after I found it. I DID find some teeth marks on the surface later, but they're just that: surface marks. Not at all torn from anywhere, whereas all of Avisha's toy piggies have been decapitated by Her Highness. Might I mention that she is a stray dog I adopted six years ago, and desi dogs can tear anything if they put their heart to it. She has destroyed numerous rolls of tape (I don't understand why she is particularly drawn to tapes), but something as soft as this sponge (and I presumed delicate) could stand her canines. That is a huge feat! One star because after another wash (obviously), it became a bit slower to retain its shape back after squeezing out excess water. I hope it was because the sponge went through a painful trial, and not because it was made that way.

5/5 for this. Product was delivered on time. The sponge itself is great. If you're really tempted to buy the Beauty Blender but feel it's too expensive, I'd highly recommend this. It provides enough coverage and can be used for application of concealer, foundation, and blush. Since you're supposed to use it when it's soaked it water and squeezed out, it retains a little water (considering it's a sponge), and the foundation gives a great sheen on your skin. It provides a natural looking glow. If you want a full coverage, though, you will need brushes. Wash only as often as you wash your brushes in a bowl of soap water.

i just purchased this product and i must say im fully satisfied with it . The kind of coverage it gives to my face is just amazing. Got it at a good discount at amazon and the delivery was also quick. If someone is looking for a beauty blender then this is a must have product to use alomg with the liquid foundations or BB creams. It sets the liquid content so well in your skin that it looks completely flawless and not to cakey also. Hence 5 stars for this product.....its absolutely amazing.

I had ordered it before too from amazon.. but the previous sponge was soft and worked amazingly.. this time on the other hand it was hard and took a long time to expand. Dunno if there is a change in the product or i received a faulty one

I had brought a beauty blender back from Europe...this is not the same texture or material...there is a slight difference...so not really sure if it is the original product...HOWEVER...I have experienced discrepancies in items that were sold in north America and Europe before... stamping and labeling on the sponge are similar but not 100% the same... product works well...but it is not as soft as the blender that I previously purchased...

Just got this RT sponge today. Used it wet as seen online. Much cheaper than its "original BB" competition.. Amazing professional finish.. even though I am not a pro.. Even with a normal CC creme..I was able to achieve decent coverage that looks like my own skin! Wash it in a mix of shampoo and disinfectant soap and thoroughly dry before reusing. Don't store it wet and reuse as it may lead to bacterial growth. Wash after every use if possible. You can save the plastic casing and use it to dry the sponge. A must have for your makeup kit!!
