Cameras and NVR display are crisp and high quality with a decent range. Installation is not too difficult, just pay attention during the System Setup instructions. There are some extra pieces/parts in the kit not addressed in the instructions or the website. One misleading note on the product info is it's advertised as a self-contained unit not requiring home internet. It is up to a certain point as the internal router will interface with the cameras and record any actions. But, in order to interface with the internal router via a computer or smart phone, it does need to be directly connected by an Ethernet cable to your internet's router. Given the way my house is set-up, the router is not centrally located.
