Few strokes and knife is as good as new.•••••••PROS•••••••1. Metal bit for initial cutting and rough finish.2. Ceramic bit for final touch & fine finish.3. Rubber base for proper support.4. Ergonomic handle for holding it while sharpening•••••••CONS•••••••1. Not meant for professional usage. With heavy usage ceramic bit tends to get usage marks and cuts due to which it becomes useless.•••••••••••••••••APPLICATION•••••••••••••••••Some unidirection strokes with knife edge on bit and slight pressure, will make knife sharp.Only a few strokes are needed.For rough finish on knife edge, dont use ceramic bit. Only use metal bit.•••••••••••••••••••FINAL VERDICT•••••••••••••••••••This ones a nice sharpener and all good for normal home usage.
