The air cam walking boot can be used for acute ankle sprains, soft tissue injuries, stable lower leg, foot and ankle fractures and post-operative use. Universal fit for left or right foot. Features Plastic molded uprights with steel reinforcement provides increased durability. Shock-absorbing insole reduces impact of heel strike when walking. Rocker sole helps promote a natural gait to allow continuation of daily activities. Recommended up to 300 pounds Proper Sizing Correct application is vital to the proper functioning of the brace. Proper Fit Tips Follow this guide to help get the best fit possible. Refer to size chart and understanding fit guide found in images and video that demonstrates proper application and fit Step 1 Open all the straps. Take the liner out of the boot. Place your foot in the liner making sure to slide your heel to the back of the liner. For proper fit, completely remove the top strap. *Additional comfort pads provided to fill gaps in the liner and provide additional padding where needed. Step 2 Close liner starting at your toes. Make sure the liner is snug around your foot and leg. Step 3 Place your foot with liner inside the boot making sure your heel is pushed all the way to the back of the boot. Attach and fasten the top strap once your foot is in the proper position. Step 4 Fasten the straps starting at the toes and working up. *Toes may extend past end of the liner. After his foot got somewhat better he was given a foot sandal boot to wear. It didn’t work for him and he was in more pain. So he didn’t even wear it. After searching we decided to go for this. Let me tell you this was good support for him. He finally could walk to his classes without hurting. It fit just right on him. The quality is really good. Only thing was when he had to walk up stairs to get to classes and walk down them was not so fun when wearing this. But still my son preferred it as his foot was not in pain.
