Thought the sound is not par with its bigger cousin 1700 but definately sound amazing . Bluetooth function is spot on ; bass is punchy , treble and mids are ok . As the bass port is in the back make sure it not placed too near to a wall else will deliver muddy sound. Let me say although it shreaks at high volume. But between 40-60 % of the voulme, which is pretty loud. The sound quality, the details, specially the mids with no compromise on highs and lows are simply music to ears. Not large but a tiny concert at home, that's what I would say. Beautiful manifestation of amazing engineering is at play here guys, and trust me it's sounds like that too. I just love it.. don't think twice, after discount it's really a bargain of a price.
