How is this for a 5 month old lurcher ?

Well - if your puppy is ready for training then you can train them with this whistle . They won’t respond to it unless you train them to do so . But a few training sessions spent giving the whistle two short , sharp toots and then immediately following up with giving the lurcher a treat should get them to associate the whistle with a treat. Once you’ve cracked that then you’re on the way to your dog being whistle trained !
