It doesn't have any wires on the inside so you can't use it as a bounce like shown in the product image but yes you can very well use it as a budget snoot. Seems like you have to tak3 care that it doesn't fall ofd coz it kinda comes with a band which goes on top of your speedlight and this one sits on it. It would have been good if the band had velcro or was of rubberized material so that it sits strong and doesn't fall off.
