My two most anxious dogs like to lay near it so i know it’s giving some comfort. There is no smell but the receptacle does get hot to the touch, nothing dangerous. I was getting the collar but it impacted my husky mixes fur, this is less effective than the collar but it does help. I got 60 days worth for $30 and i think thats great! ### ⭐ Leaky, unreturnable, useless *by L***E on July 8, 2025* Plugged it in and it leaked everywhere (no crack or damage visible in container). Left a puddle on the floor below the outlet and it burned my skin when trying to clean it up. For the day it was plugged in, I saw no difference in the calming effect on my dog. Since it is a consumable item, it was not returnable, even though it was broken and unusable.
