Golf is an exceedingly expensive sport. My local city and county courses charge upwards of $70 per person per round. So "blowing" a round playing this game isn't going to be for everyone. But if you're not looking to play serious golf, and if you're playing in a group of golfers with varying skill levels (corporate event wth some non-golfers, wedding party, family fun night out on the course, etc.) this on-course game can be a lot of fun. The score-equalizing aspect of this game is genius in its simplicity: make it harder for the players who are scoring better, and make it easier for the players who are scoring worse. I really like the concept. The only issue is that many golfers who might be scoring better still aren't very good golfers! They might not want disadvantages thrown at them just because they're playing better than non-golfers. I mean, it all really depends on the individuals playing and what they're each looking to get out of their round of golf. Back to the simplicity issue. The price seems a tad high for a game that anyone can make up as they go, given the general concept. Normally, card games should cost under $10.
