Our Rat Terrier puppy developed a chicken/poultry allergy about 5 months ago and it was a hassle searching for dog food without hidden ingredients. This brand appears to be free of poultry and our puppy willingly eats it, plain. (That says a lot!) She suffers No hives. No eye goo. No swollen eyes. Because it contains No poultry. If your dog has food allergies, an upset stomach, hates their kibble, or just needs better food…run and buy this! My dogs go NUTS over it. They even eat it as a treat! It’s healthy, isn’t full of nasty fillers, and even the pickiest of dogs will love it.

I've had this food on auto delivery for over a year, but have had to cancel because the bag size went from 30 to 24 lbs and the price increased more than 20%.

Item is good quality but dog is picky eater, didn't like it.

We adopted a beautiful golden girl who had been a breeder dog for her first 3 years. When she wouldn’t eat or had diarrhea, we first thought it was just a huge adjustment to live in a house with loving people but it never really went away. We tried many foods, both more and less expensive but she’d throw up or worse, get diarrhea at least once or twice a week. We finally tried Blackwood sensitive stomach and we haven’t looked back! She seems to like it and she’s never sick! (Except from nerves on July 4th, even with meds) Thank you Blackwood! Our girl is happy and healthy!

I have a cutie pie cocker spaniel rescue pup that goes by Charlotte! For whatever reason, she has a sensitive tummy. We can't pinpoint the cause but certain foods (and especially treats) cause tummy troubles. I thought this food sounded nice as it's small batch and especially for sensitive stomachs. I've been slowly feeding her this and so far so good! I also like that the kibble is smaller. It seems like she struggles more with larger chunk foods (my assumption based on treats being an issue). The ingredient list seems very decent with catfish meal as the main ingredient, followed by barley, oat & millet. All very familiar foods. With 23% protein to boot, you can't really complain. So anyway, no issues with this! Definitely something that I'll keep in rotation for my pup! I feel like she likes variety just like we do so I incorporate several foods in her diet!
