Glossy finish!
I redid ky kitchen countertops over the holidays and this epoxy coating gave them a solid finush. Working with epoxy is difficult and time consuming but the results are worth the effort. I am loving my new kitchen. Already ordered more for my bathrooms. Will let you you how it holds up overtime.

So pretty and easy to use!
Love this epoxy kit! So shiny and really makes huge difference. I used this over countertops that I painted using acrylic paints. I also mixed crushed crystal mica powder to give it that sparkle (if you do this- mix the mica In the epoxy for about two minutes before you add the activator) and it really looks like granite. The pictures don’t do it justice. The kit is user friendly and comes with detailed instructions and is portioned out to simplify the process. They also include instructions on how to do the backsplash but I am doing something else for that. I had a heat gun and tweezers for bubbles but that really wasn’t an issue with this. About two hours after pouring, I noticed a hair in it (should have worn a hair net or a hat) I pulled it out and used the heat gun to level it and it’s perfect. If you don’t have a heat gun, a hair dry let should work fine- just be sure it isn’t dusty. All in all this is a great kit and I’m glad I tried it! It’s much better in person but I hope the pictures help!

Beautiful finish
The instructions are easy to follow. I also watched the video on how to do the veining. Turned out beautiful. Epoxy was easy to mix and pour. Self-levelled perfectly. This one is a little more expensive than other brands but I tried the cheaper and it looked yellowish and did not level and left waves in the countertop, which I then had to remove and redo with this brand. Do not waste your time or money on the cheaper stuff. This is what you need. I will say that it does stain somewhat if something sits on it too long and there are some spots on the edge that have chipped, but I think maybe we stretched it a little further than we should have because we were worried we didn't have enough epoxy. I will probably replace with a stone countertop in a few years but this is pretty enough to get by until then.

3rd times a charm. Live and learn.. now love it!
Be patient, confident and ready. First time turned out pretty good but I didnt stay in the room long enough... after I left more bubbles appeared, a few pieces of fuzz and a bug landed on my countertops. And I found a fist size spot I completely missed. I realized then I should have just stayed and stared at the countertops for over an hour. I purchased another epoxy set thinking I could just fix those spots. Turned out terrible. 3rd try I purchased 3 more sets. Sanded, cleaned, sanded, cleaned, sanded, cleaned everything. Started from scratch. I took my time double checking every square inch multiple times. Stayed around the kitchen for a couple of hours. It looks beautiful! Super happy. Its not hardest its not easy because so many things can go wrong.. so be prepared and patient and ready... you dont have too much time to correct spots before it starts to set and dry.
