These lightweight powerful speakers really enhanced our home audio experience. They provide a lot of sound in a relatively small package. Interface: The remote feels solid and well-made. We've had zero issues with the remote. Contrary to other reviews, we find that the system works fine without the remote too. The top buttons are fine for turning it off and on, changing volume, and changing inputs. Aux In RCA: The sound from our record player plays crisply and clearly. Make sure you have a phono pre-amp or that your turntable has line-level output. Bluetooth: Bluetooth works great, producing big sound from our phones, etc. Pairing is really quick. Look for the "SineAudio" device in your bluetooth settings. Optical: PCM Stereo audio from our TV works great. Be sure to set your TV to output PCM or it won't work. The sound is a lot better than the TV's built-in speakers and also a lot better than any of the soundbars we've tried. The greater range of frequencies produced is noticeable when playing on our Nintendo Switch, watching movies, etc. There's zero or near-zero lag. Subwoofer: [original review] Untested. The bass reproduction on the speakers is good enough that we haven't added a subwoofer yet, so I don't know how well the subwoofer output works. [2025-03-17 update:] The subwoofer output works great. It's puts out an LFE signal that drives our subwoofer perfectly. Make sure to use a quality cable. Our first cable introduced a 60hz hum in the subwoofer output. The subwoofer makes a huge difference! It would be great to have adjustable crossover to play a little less bass out of the Saiyin speakers, but at this price I can't complain. I'm really happy with these speakers, especially at this price point. If I had to change anything it would be these: 1. This should include a longer wire for connecting the left speaker to the right. It barely reaches from one side of our 65" TV to the other when routing it out-of-sight. For the price, just buy the speakers and some extra wire. It's still a really good deal. 2. The news/movie/music equalizer settings don't make a huge difference. Bass/Treble buttons on the remote would be better. 3. It would be good to be able to turn off the front lights on the right speaker. It's easy enough to cover them with gaffer tape so this isn't a major criticism at all.

Saiyin Bookshelf speakers DS6801S are the 5 1/4" active 2-way bookshelf speakers. They come with one powered speaker and one passive speaker. The main speaker has a RCA subwoofer out port. The speaker system comes complete with speaker wire, rca cable, optical cable and remote. * if you find that your remote is not working with the speakers. Contact the MFg via the email in the pamphlet. The remote is the single most important piece in the box. I will explain later. The speaker has a ported mid-bass speaker that does a fine job and makes good use of the port. There is no port noise from the speaker. The tweeter is a horn. You will not get the smooth warm sound that you get with a ribbon tweeter. I use this speaker with a Polk audio 12" sub to practice my DJ sets. The remote control: The remote control allows you to choose between 3 DSP modes. Without the remote you will NOT be able to tailor the sound of the speaker. The DSP is NOT available via the controls located on top of the speaker. Additionally, The remote allows you to control the subwoofer level control. The speaker produces a fine sound and is worth the $60 price tag. I do have other bookshelf speakers with a ribbon tweeter and another pair with a soft dome tweeter that are more suited for easy listening or smooth jazz. The Sayin bookshelf speaker packs a nice punch and play loud. When paired with a sub the come alive and produce a decent club sound.

As an audiophile and avid record collector, I am always on the lookout for high-quality speakers to enhance my listening experience. The Saiyin Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers have truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. First and foremost, the sound quality produced by these speakers is simply outstanding. Whether I'm spinning vinyl on my record player, streaming music via Bluetooth, or watching movies, the audio reproduction is rich, clear, and incredibly immersive. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, the mids are warm and detailed, and the highs are crisp and well-defined. It's like rediscovering my favorite songs all over again. The connectivity options offered by these speakers are also impressive. The Bluetooth functionality works flawlessly, allowing me to easily stream music from my smartphone, tablet, or laptop without any hassle. Additionally, the built-in RCA inputs provide a convenient way to connect my record player or other audio sources directly to the speakers. In terms of design, the Saiyin Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers strike the perfect balance between form and function. The sleek, minimalist aesthetic complements any decor, while the sturdy construction exudes durability and quality craftsmanship. I also appreciate the compact size of the speakers, which makes them ideal for smaller spaces like my home office or living room. Another noteworthy feature is the built-in amplifier, which eliminates the need for a separate receiver or amplifier unit. This not only simplifies the setup process but also ensures optimal compatibility and performance with a wide range of audio devices. Overall, I cannot recommend the Saiyin Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers highly enough. Whether you're a seasoned audiophile or simply looking to upgrade your home audio setup, these speakers deliver exceptional sound quality, versatile connectivity, and stylish design in one package. Truly a standout product that has earned its place as the centerpiece of my listening room.

Instead of seperate sound so not true stereo. Manufacture too cheap to add seperate power source for each speaker. It would be better then the user could connect it in different parts of the room instead of hard wiring it in a location close to the powered side.. I might have liked them if it weren't for that major flaw... So just to reiterate, I have to run a speaker wire over to the other speaker which does not have a powered side.. So therefore the sound is only coming from one side and branched over... Shouldn't be that way... Clearly not a left right stereo as it says by AI description if you put in "stereo".. It cannot be a left right since it is branched from one side.. If you don't get this if you split the left side it's not independent sound from the right side. but I dislike it even more for another reason which has to do with the speaker wire and no independent power source.. There should be an option to plug in USB power since everyone can use their power outlet with USB... Just lazy manufacturer not taking the time to make it a modern design.. It appears you are getting something modern since it says "bluetooth" but it's just bluetooth on one side then split and an ugly wire going across.. I had asked about this before buying as well so I think they are deceptive.. Next time I'll ask if there are seperate power sources.. I would send back, but it is quite a process since I'm using alternative payment methods so I can't find another unless I want to be without sound for a week or week(s) which means no sleep for me because I need background noise... Usually I don't rate one star unless it's something that shouldn't be.... When sending back they sometimes take forever to credit you and I don't have the money to just order another. Regardless of excuse by the manufacture, it should have two power sources, so you don't have to branch over from one speaker to the next.... They have to be close together as a result or in my case it is blantently obviously there's an ugly wire going accross my nice appartment hardwood floors.. People who live in a barn might not care about this but I do... Everyone should have a modern design when buying new products unless they specifically want outdated ways which obviously would make no sense for most people.
