Easy plug and play with android devices
This thing is plug and play as promised. Easy to connect to via bluetooth to get started with an android phone. Running apps that can communicate with the OBD2 all seem to work. Primarily I'm using it for Torque app and it's pulling all of the information I want quickly. Haven't had any disconnects yet. If you have a head unit that can use apps then you could also connect directly from there and display information on it like you would from your phone.

It works as intended. I just wish it did more, like programming keys and TPM sensors.

Obd scanner
After buying several 10 dollar obd scanners I paid a little bit more and it was well worth it. Works great. I use obd pro app with it. Does what I want it to do

Allowed me to register new battery in 2019 VW Tiguan and change from lead acid to AGM when teamed up with Car Scanner Pro iPhone app.

Confusing instructions and unable to set it up!
This is so incredibly confusing how to use I finally gave up trying to figure it out. The manual given has multiple models inside of it so it’s hard to tell which one is for your model. I was unable to connect this and use it because it was too confusing to figure it out and I’m usually very good with technology so this would be very difficult for those who aren’t to figure out.

bought toremove the backup beep in reverse on Prius 2012. worked exactly as suggested. returned my CT OBDII reader as it wasnt compatible. this worked and at half the price.
