Great deal test strips work perfect an inexpensive way to determine water hardness.

Be aware that the strips have an expiration date. For the ones which remain sealed in the package, it appears to be slightly over 1 year. For strips which are unsealed the package states they expire in just 30 days.For myself, in using these seasonally on my RV, there is no way in the world I could possibly use up strips that quickly (unsealed or sealed). I wish I had known this prior to purchasing.I have used them and the do seem to work.

We have very hard water & I wanted to confirm that my water softener was working properly. I tested the untreated water, showing it was very hard, then tested the softened water & it tested soft. Saved me a call to the plumber to test the water. Easy to use & very quick results.
