Really good for in between washes or for a itchy scalp
Really good for those in-between days when your scalp feels dry, tight or itchy. I get a dry scalp and sometimes Seborrhoeic dermatitis, and this helps take the edge off that raw, tight, itchy feeling. It can leave your hair slightly greasy, but itโs completely odourless. If you use it sparingly, you can still wear your hair up or down without it looking overly oily. Itโs cheap and very easy to apply. The soft silicone nozzle (similar to kidsโ PVA glue bottles) means it doesnโt scratch or irritate the scalp. On its own, itโs not a treatment for scalp conditions, but as part of a routine itโs great for keeping dryness and itching under control between washes or treatments. Since using this, Iโve actually stopped needing intermittent steroid scalp treatments, as it keeps the itching at bay really

Noticeable relief from scalp itch โ lightweight and non-greasy
Iโve been using the Nizoral Scalp Soothing Leave-in Treatment for a short time, and it has already made a difference in calming irritation between washes. The formula feels lightweight and absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving any greasy or sticky residue on the hair. What I appreciate most is the immediate cooling effectโit reduces itchiness within minutes, and the relief lasts several hours. Itโs convenient to use on both wet and dry hair, which makes it easy to apply whenever the scalp starts feeling uncomfortable. The 100ml bottle is a practical size for regular use, and since only a small amount is needed, it should last a while. Of course, itโs not a cure for dandruff or scalp conditions on its own, but as a soothing treatment to keep dryness and itchiness under control, it works very well. Overall, this is a simple but effective product that brings comfort and freshness to the scalp. Definitely worth trying if you struggle with irritation between washes.

Dry flake remover
Works as expected can make your hair greasier faster though just depends how much you use

Great find
I hardly leave reviews but this product deserves one! Dandruff reduced instantly, itchiness almost gone. And red spots which appears on my arm and legs this time of year (early spring) also calmed down. Someone mentioned skin effects (thank you!) so I applied on here and there. Highly recommended!

Disappointed with the treatment
I use the nizoral wash treatment and it's brilliant, but I'm left a bit disappointed with this. I'm bedbound so I thought I would try this as a backup for the week, as it's not always easy or practical for me to wash my hair in the conventional way due to mobility, so I was hoping the leave in treatment would be ideal. Sadly not, application is easy, it has sort of a small baby's bottle type end so you can squeeze a little directly onto the scalp, and I have short hair, so found it great to then rub about and brush in, so initally it looked good. But it's not working like the wash treatment, I'm finding flakes again, and it leaves a weird almost sticky film like how overusing a dry shampoo would, basically it left my hair feeling so grubby I had no choice but to force myself to have an additional carer day to bathe, I will finish the bottle and see if I can find a better balance, as it seems to work nicer if my hairs wet, but then that's defeating the point for me.

It is quite effective
I am not sure how effective this is always. Most of the time it really does have a soothing effect, occasionally not so much. But that's probably because my hair needs washing (normally washed every two to three days) - my hair gets greasy.

Goodbye, folliculitis!
For years, I've had hair that hurts. When brushing it the wrong way or styling it, my scalp has felt sore. In recent months, I've been getting strange tingly feelings over my head, almost a crawling sensation. It belatedly dawned on me that this might be folliculitis - an infection in the hair follicles, which must have been merrily proliferating all this time. My hair's falling out - I blamed it on my age, but perhaps it's poorly follicles. The Nizoral lotion has got rid of it in three days (bar one little patch, which I must have missed and will do tonight). It's a runny gel, quite difficult to apply effectively with long hair. Day One, I got as much on the floor as on my head. Day Two spared the floor, though I ended up getting more of it in my hair than on the scalp. Last night I decided not to worry about how much I used, trickled it all over my scalp as best I could, and massaged it well in. This tangled my hair thoroughly but I did manage to comb it through. It made my hair look very greasy and soaked in over time, leaving it soft and shiny. This may happen faster if you use a hair dryer. It has a moderately pleasant smell, which quickly faded. Summary: Cured a long-term infection in 3 days. Worth the expense!
