Hope that helps **Q: Would I be able to pin fabric to this board then use scissors for cutting?** A: I use it for cutting out with scissors but it’s not meant for pinning fabric to the board. Normally just to lay out fabric and pin pattern to fabric. The board gives a good surface for measuring and cutting. Will protect your table or floor and help when folding fabric **Q: can a rotary cutter be used with this board** A: No, it is just thick cardboard. Very easy to cut out with scissors as it gives a smooth surface, but a rotary cutter would ruin it **Q: Is it really plastic? My old one was corregated cardboard** A: The board I received was just like my old one: cardboard. This works great for me and if needs be, pins can be stuck into it perpendicular to the board to hold bits in place. Not suitable for use with rotary cutters however. I was quite happy to find another one of these new after having used my previous one for decades. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dritz 890 Superboard Durable Kraft Board, 39-3/4 x 72-Inch - OZXTYO Triangle Tailors Chalk,Sewing Fabric Chalk and Fabric Markers for Quilting,Sewing Supplies Accessories(10 Pieces) - Otylzto Premium Plastic Clips, 100 Pcs with Box, Sewing Notions for Sewing Quilting Supplies Crafting Tools, Assorted Colors for Craft --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/64341089-dritz-890-superboard-durable-kraft-board-39-3-4-x](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/64341089-dritz-890-superboard-durable-kraft-board-39-3-4-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
