Very happy with this purchase. Works with both my Bass and guitar. Battery life is solid and no signal loss walking around my house.

Right away when you open the package, you realize that the new model is less atractive than the old one.It isn't glossy. It has a weird oblong shape to it. But It's about the same size as the previous model.So on to the good stuff.It is very lightweight. It makes you aware that you should probably go easy on these. I don't know how much abuse they can take, and I'm trying not to find out.There is a power switch (remember to turn these off when not in use!) a power indicator light and I believe it has six channel light indicators.I don't really care about the indicators. I was looking for a new version of the old wireless system that didn't work on the 2.4Ghz frequency that nearly everything else seems to work on.When I first went wireless, 2.4Ghz was just fine. I still needed to be consistent with the direction I was facing to get the best signal. But it was workable and sounded fantastic.Fast forward just a couple years. Maybe three.The wireless system has sooo much interference that it's nearly impossible to find a clear channel to use while playing.When I first had seen the 5.8Ghz advertising, I figured it was just a money grab and didn't really provide any benefit. I was clearly in the wrong. The new frequency has been nothing short of spectacular.The signal is clear as day and I'm very satisfied with the new design.I still see they are selling the 2.4Ghz version, but I think it's wrong for them to do so knowing that the airwaves are jam-packed on that frequency.Regardless of the right or wrong, I'm going to continue to use the new design and do so with a smile on my face. This is the best purchase I've made in a while.I can't recommend this enough to those who have not ever used wireless systems but are looking for their first one, or are stuck with a 2.4Ghz and tired of dealing with the endless interference.

I love this system. After stumbling over long cords, this is fabulous. Easy to use and charge. It's also nice that it provides the charging cord and case.

I'm a professional musician that gigs a lot. My biggest gripe with the instrument wireless units I've used in the past is dropouts. I'm a bass player, so it's critical that I can trust that my wireless system doesn't drop my signal but it was happening so frequently that I just gave up and went back to using a cable. The common denominator of the systems that I used were that they were all 2.4GHz. When I saw that this Xvive system was 5.8GHz, I decided to roll the dice again on a wireless system for the first time in 6 years.I bought this system 3 months ago and have already used it on 25 gigs. It has been flawless. I haven't had a single dropout issue. Ever! I've used it in big cities, small towns, big venues, small bars... It doesn't matter, it always works as it should. I don't even keep a cable on standby anymore because I have such confidence in this system. I also don't notice any tone degradation or any faint, high-pitched frequency that sometimes occurs with instrument wireless systems.Not only is this the best instrument wireless system I've ever used, it's also the cheapest. Go figure!

I like this product. I've tried several other brands and gave up on wireless transmitters/receivers for guitar. However, this one crossed my path while surfing YouTube and I decided to try it. The units work as promised, providing immediate guitar to amp sound latency and accurate rendition. I sometimes go from one room to another with partial shielding by walls if you draw a straight line between transmitter/receiver; when I get to 40 feet the clarity breaks down a bit but for practicing it is not really an issue. I suspect that on a stage or single open room, it would be far less vulnerable to sound degradation. The battery charge lasts quite awhile; never timed it, but sometimes I practice for a few hours without problem. I have used the transmitter with three different quality guitars, even one guitar with an odd (but cool) guitar jack placement (2001 G&L ASAT Deluxe). They all worked well. One of the three guitars has an active, battery powered, output and the transmitter worked just fine with it. It actually has a setting for it. The units seem sturdy, not flimsy in any way. They are aesthetically pleasing and the simple carrying case is a bonus. I would give this transmitter/receiver a try.

I've used Xvive wireless in other applications but this is the first guitar-based item that I have used. I've used similar to this, also, but 2.4 Ghz, which is prone to interference from routers and other wireless devices. This setup, using 5.8Ghz, uses a less crowded part of the wireless spectrum so its not subject to transient noise or momentary drop-outs like Joyo (2.4ghz), Boss, etc. Very happy with these. Also happy to discover that they have user-replaceable batteries. If you use a T-3 driver, gently remove the QC sticker (to put back on later) you can get the tiny torx screw out. Use a thin flat-tip driver (micro, or eyeglass if you have it) to gently pry from the top towards the bottom of the unit.The back is held in by two small tabs on the top, but it doesn't really slide off that well so I had to coax it. Open it up and the battery is gummy-stuck to the inside of the piece you are removing, and connected by a tiny push-in wire clip. (See pics) I was really excited when I found this, plus the specs for the replacement battery are in the manual. Most of these devices, even the Boss and LIne 6 (low to middle tier units), are throw away. When the battery dies buy a new unit or send it for 'repairs' to get a replacement battery. The battery for these is a few dollars on its own and you can use the same wire clip if you need to by cutting it and shrink-tubing it to the wires of the new battery. Relatively easy peasy.

So far it works fine with no latency. Holds charge very well for at least 4 hours. Good product.

I've had these for 6 months and played 14 gigs with them. Unfortunately, I've had too many problems with them live. Last night's gig was the final straw. Fully charged, no issues first half of set 1 and then they started cutting out. I changed channels a few times. New channel would be great for a second, then it would start cutting out again. The A58 finally radically altered the tone and started feeding back. I switched to cable to finish out the night.If it were just last night, I'd be okay, but it's happened to some degree at other gigs. Some gigs, they work great. Others have been problems. What gets me is that I used the Xvive U2 model for 6 years with only a couple of issues in that time. Maybe I just got a defective product. Not sure I want to try another pair, though. I think I'm just gonna spend the money and go back to the old school battery pack Shure wireless. Always thought it was overkill for clubs, privates, and small venues, but they also always worked. Or stick with a cable.
