Great for my Irish Penny/Tin Whistles, well made and modular to fit different sized instruments.
I use this stand for my Irish Penny/Tin Whistles. I have many of various sizes and lengths and this stand works great to store them especially during practice when I want to move back and forth between whistles. Great item!

Great stand
Heavy duty and doesn't feel like my flute and piccolo are going to fly away at an outdoor concert. The bag is a great addition. Has held up well for 2 years.

Works very well and is extremely sturdy
I highly recommend this, as it's very sturdy and will not easily tip over, if at all, and holds three instruments at a time, so I can set up my flute and clarinet for lessons, and not have to dismantle and reassemble in between lessons, but it also has the third spike to hold my student's instrument while we are going over theory, etc. I replaced one of these "spikes" with the flute stand by the same company that has the spring loaded mount, which I prefer for my flute, but the ones that come with this work fantastically well too. Nice fabric covers each spike, so no chance of scratching or otherwise marring expensive instruments. I love this and only wish I had known about it years ago in my music studio. It would've saved many minutes over the years of dismantling and reassembling instruments in between various lessons, as I never leave my flute especially laying on a surface because of the risk of it being handled by a younger student, or being accidentally knocked off by students or parents. This allows me to rest the instruments on it in a corner on the floor safely, rather than having to set down on fireplace mantle, couch, or piano bench, or dismantling to store in case...

The best stand out there
What more can I say! It's the best stand out there. I used some other cheaper, smaller stands but they were either of terribly low quality or I was worried about them getting knocked over. None of that here! Thing is sturdy as a...well, whatever is sturdy! Sure, it's a bit bulky to carry around to and from rehearsals, but it's worth it!

Good for Baroque Recorders too!
I’m super happy with this purchase. I play Alto, Tenor and Soprano recorders and needed a way to corral them during sessions with other musicians. As others have mentioned, it gets unwieldy trying to keep one’s toes pointed to keep the recorders from rolling off one’s lap. I purchased the Flute/Clarinet Stand DS543BB. The stand comes standard with two (2) DS502B Velvet pegs for Flute/Clarinet and one (1) DS504B Velvet peg for Piccolo. I decided to order an extra DS504B (Piccolo) peg just in case, and was glad I did. My alto doesn’t fit on the second DS502B (Flute/Clarinet) peg, but the alto and soprano recorders each fit well on the two DS504B (Piccolo) pegs. The tenor recorder fits perfectly on the DS502B (Flute/Clarinet) peg. I am saving the extra DS502B (Flute/Clarinet) peg in case I ever decide to take up a lower-than-tenor register recorder or if I decide to buy a low-D penny-whistle (though I don’t think I want to supplant either the soprano or the alto). In case it’s helpful to know, I play Yamaha’s YRS-24B (Baroque Soprano); YRA-28B (Baroque Alto) and YRT-304B (Baroque Tenor) ABS plastic Yamaha recorders. Just (relatively) inexpensive recorders, but I’m still really glad for a way to keep them off the floor (or from having to tuck them under my arm) when I’m switching between instruments often. Thanks to all the other recorder players who left such detailed reviews. It helped me hone in on the right stand for my instruments.

Works great for my tenor recorder, a little loose for my bass recorder
I'm using this for my Yamaha plastic recorder set and it works great. The alto fits on the thinner spike (I haven't tried the soprano yet but I rarely play that one), the tenor and bass fit on the thicker spike. The thicker spike is a bit short for the bass and the bass is heavy enough that if it's the only instrument on the stand it will fall over if I'm not careful. Appears to be sturdily built, and overall appears to be good quality. I wish it had a different locking mechanism for the arms, the buttons are hard for me to push down far enough to close it up for traveling, but I really like how compact it is for taking to gigs.

Great buy!
I play the oboe and English horn, so I bought this stand for a piece where I have to switch in between instruments. The stand is incredibly sturdy and easy to set up. You can fold it and make it easier to transport in a backpack. I sit next to a piccolo player, and I let her use the third peg so that it doesn’t go to waste. Her piccolo sits well on it and the stand has made both of our lives much easier while switching instruments. I love this product!
