We are having problems with the raccoons raiding the bird feeders. We were willing to TRY the non-lethal option. This device is PERFECT and DID exactly what it is advertised to do. Scared the stripes off this Raccoon! Worked the 1st time! It charges itself, you can set it for NIGHT ONLY mode, it is extremely loud and is very easy to install. 10 minutes tops. We'll have to see about the battery life. It is on the weather side of the house so, we'll see how it stands up to the heat. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT and would highly recommend it.

Very loud near the light but not disturbing a 75' or more away. I like the variety of sounds and it is rather amusing when we walk by to check out the function. Seems to be sensitive. We used this for our garden and had a game cam recording the scene. We used on the dark setting only and my how the intruders jumped. We had opossum, skunk, fox, coyote, porcupine, racoon and deer. All were unnerved by the lights and noise and cleared the area. The skunk the least so. Luckily he is not a garden pest that eats the veggies. I bought another kind of alarm but this was my favorite. I used some with the provided stake and mounted a couple on a post.

I got this to help scare mice away from the backyard. The motion sensors work well and are quite sensitive. I keep it set to night mode with sound. The sound is pretty loud, so I had to DIY-muffle the speakers to keep it from being too loud at night.

The sensor is doing the job. Having trouble with foxes digging around my shop building. Tried other “noise” makers but they got use to them. The loud audible sounds scare anything that gets near it. Worth the money.

A good value. I’m hoping that they work. It would be better if it didn’t shuffle through the sounds and allowed you to lock into one but otherwise it’s loud and should help keep the geese away

I got this to scare stray cats away. It is so loud! There is no volume button on it. I put it out for the first time and when it went off my neighbor’s dogs were barking and going crazy. I will keep it but only use it for Halloween to scare the trick or treaters. I am buying another brand with a volume button on it. This brand is nice if you live out in the country or if you have no neighbors near by or if you just don’t care what your neighbors think. I get along very well with my neighbors and I want to keep it that way. Again, this brand works very good and is worth the money I paid for it, but there is no volume button to turn it down.

Moved to a new house & every spring, the birds would get territorial & attack the cars in my driveway, pooping all over the sideview mirrors. Had to start washing the cars every day but the birds would immediately poop on the cars again. Even covering the sideview mirrors with bags did not help because the birds would then attack the windows instead, leaving streaks of poop all over the door handles. I tried everything: pinwheels, streamers, hawk kite nearby. Nothing stopped the bird attacks. No nests were close to my driveway, but the birds had taken over. FINALLY, I found this motion sensor alarm & left it on the hood of my car every time I parked in my driveway. At first, it did not seem to do much. In fact, it seemed like it was malfunctioning, going through all 13 sounds at once, more than a few times. Then, it seemed like it wasn’t working at all (maybe in the brightest sunlight, the motion sensor is blinded?). But two weeks in, I noticed that I had fewer bird poops on my car. Now it is week 3 and it is the first time with NO bird poops on my car! So I think this thing has been effective in scaring the birds away! I like that the alarm sounds do not go forever…I think it is like 20 seconds? I had one that lasted 60 seconds & that was too annoying. Plus, I love that this product cycles through 13 different sounds, so the birds do not get used to it. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase! The fact that it is solar powered is a plus because I do not have to change out batteries.

Stopped working in the middle of a huge storm after 2 mos. It just kept going off so had to go out in the rain at 3a and turn it off. Now, when I turn it back on, it just keeps going off, even though the daytime. It did work on the cat as it definitely scare them, but it’s very loud and obnoxious to neighbors also

Kind of wish they were less visibly (not bright yellow) but when you think that these are supposed to alert and scare people away it works great. My dog hates it, loud and bright. Has already scared away 2 cats, and some homeless / drunk who was trying to get through my backyard. Has worked great this spring / summer, will have to remove closer to winter. Works great.

Loud and the sounds change so the coons dont get use to the same noise. Dinos roaring gunshots, sirens etc. Lights flash. You can set to just at night or 24 hours

It does deter dogs initially but once they get used to the sound, they ignore it. It does deter cats however.
