I bought the Blu-Ray of this movie. I saw this movie in the theater when it was released back in the early 1990s. At that time I was spell-bound by the movie. Now I played this Blu-Ray on my Home Theater system and that nostalgia from my childhood was back. Good Heavens! The Picture Clarity and the Sound was AMAZING! If your home theater speakers are placed properly in relation to your listening area and you play this blu-ray, you will experience total bliss when you: 1. Hear birds flapping going from one rear speaker to another without a break. 2. Fall out of your chair in amazement when you actually FEEL the elephant walking up the screen due to the sub-woofer replicating the low thuds of the biggest animal in the world! 3. Be fearful of the stampede scene and will be wondering how come a gazelle is not right beside you! 4. Stare at the screen in wonder during Simba and Scar's last fight! And so many more! All this with Crystal Clear clarity of picture, even though it is almost 2 and half decades old and hand drawn! Today's animated movies have nothing on this animation. Disney did one thing right by remastering this movie and improving the picture and audio. A collector's dream and if you have kids they'll be begging you to play this as many times as you can! X-D Blu-ray is WELL WORTH IT! Go for it!

This movie is easily understand, well done and quite good for children. We like it. Really nice to see it again.

This gives a powerful perspective of life. Change is the only constant in life.

OMG! 3d is awesome. Sound effect top notch. seen it in VHS. This one is a dream come come true. Class indeed.

Should say nice job!!! Conversion is really good... No pop out effects but the depth is really good.. Since I got this 3d Bluray lesser that that of an ordinary one I decided to buy this.. Anyways the sound and picture in 3d is worth watching for 649 :-)

One movie which was close to my childhood. I wanted my son to enjoy the same though he is very young right now but surely will love it in future. Content of the movie is very apt for kids. Graphics n story narrative is just awesome.

I ordered it for my 3.5 years niece as it was available in Hindi. When I received it its packing and all was good but when I opened the pack the cd was full of scratches . I was disappointed to see that as I bought it with so much of love for my niece. When I tried to play it it didnt even play. I feel like a fool for ordering a cd from amazon

The dvd is great as well as the prompt delivery service.

One of the greatest animated films of all time. Came even better than expected, I had no clue it was the circle of life edition & came with a case cover which is pretty neat. Not sure if it was new or like new but only the cover had a little wear in the corner, everything else was in order.

One of my favourite Disney movies and as others have stated - a classic. I purchased the VHS tape a few years before I even had kids! And I'm by no means a Disney fanatic. A bit nervous ordering the DVD though based on reviews here of getting the wrong movie. But needed it urgently for last minute audition practice (my VHS tape not a viable option) and couldn't find it in brick and mortar stores or anywhere else that could get it to me as fast (annoyed that kids today have limited access to a such a great movie). Ordered and received within twelve hours. Exactly as described, works perfectly. Thank you!

my 9 yr old daughter wanted this on dvd . had it already on vhs . never seen in uk on dvd . great film and i remembered it all . was abit worried that it wasnt original. it had no holagram .disney so they tell us always have this .not true!usa imports do not come with this.she loves it, true love story for kids !remember crying 1st time i watched this film . if your looking for something for kids to laff at this is not it !!! its alove story with some great songs and 1 or 2 jokes in with it . think bambi! and up date it abit .
