Steering is very touchy and remote loops need to be thicker , mine cracked
Finally got time and weather to install! Max speed of about 2.5 mph on my 17’ fiberglass hull. Not as fast as expected but acceptable. Remote is very touchy steering wise . Matches hull, white color. Highly reommend the extra purchase of the quick mount/ release bracket , though it is pricey. Recommend also a rope to slow the lowering of unit into the water…!

For the money you can't beat this trolling motor
I have a 17ft center console and the minnkota i had stopped working, I replaced it with this unit and couldnt be more pleased with it, the trolling motor runs smooth and has no problem pushing my boat, I did have one issue with not receiving a remote with mine so I contacted the company and they sent one out and I received it in 4 days, nice to see a company willing to help.

Quality at a great price.
Works amazing. Make sure motor is deployed to register remote. Pulled my hair out for 2 hours to determine this. Instructions don't specify. Hope this saves you some time and frustration.

Easy to install and Motor issue remedied
I purchased the motor and found it very easy to install and it worked well. My particular motor had an issue but the company was quick to send a replacement part and they remedied the issue to my full satisfaction.

Worked great the first two time now remote will not connect tried resetting it still will not work.

Not sure why this wouldn't be a five star, especially for the money.
The only problem I had with this motor was it was sent to California based on the tracking number, but when I told the company about the problem they took care of it right away. They said I was given the wrong tracking number and it showed up two days later. Great thrust, quiet, easy to use. Can't go wrong expect I should, and may still order the foot controller. You're trying to fish and use the remote at times and it gets annoying. Next time I won't be so cheap, it's not that much more.

Very good unit
Very good motor for the money. I bought the quick release adapter and makes it very easy to take off. It has good power on my 16.5' Sylvan. The only complaint is that the left/right movements often move too much (meaning the micro adjustments to stay on course move too much). Overall great buy. I recommend when working with a smaller budget.
