Highly effective!
These were used for cryotherapy during chemotherapy. I would recommend these over the scuzzi brand:1 Relief Genius stayed colder than the other brand.2. The booties fit more snugly (I've got size 10W feet), which is what you need to get benefit.Considering ordering a second pair of these mits because these worked so well. Need to see if they have a cap for cold capping (manage scalp chemo toxicity). The scuzzi brand is fine but warms quickly. You need several of them on rotation to get through a chemo session.Hope this helps others.

The only Cold Therapy i need!
I usually don’t write reviews but had to considering how much this has helped me with pain relief on my feet and wrists. I’ve used this product for a month now and the cooling effect is so much better than just using regular ice. Swelling goes down fast and helps with recovery as I’m also an active person who runs and lifts weights. The material is top notch and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The size is also perfect on me since i was worried it won’t fit at first.

Tried for chemotherapy treatment
This arrived quickly and as stated in the description. Each hand mitt has 2 ice packs , one for each side. The booties have a large ice pack for the sole of the foot and 2 packs, one for on top of the toes and one for behind the heel. They were frozen solid when we left home at 8 am and still very frozen around 12 when his chemo started. They were still cold by 230 when finished but not frozen. He says the hand mitts were a bit too cold so next week we'll try glove liners underneath. Do they work for Neuropathy with chemo? Guess we find out after his treatments are over.

Love them!
I am currently undersgoing chemo treatment. Cold therapy was a recommendation of my oncologist from a very large well-known cancer center on the East Coast. Since I have just started and only had a few treatments thus far 2 out of 12 I have given these a 4/5 rating. At the end of treatment and no nuerophy I will be back to rate these a 5.-:To start they are a nice dark black color. - Matches all my comfy outfits.I purchased a 4 pack of white cotton gloves made by Cool job here at Amazon. To offer a little comfort from the cold. They have worked well. I can see myself in the future using them for a cover for hand cream over night. The black color of the mitts have not rubed off onto the white gloves.-:The cold therapy boots I wear with plush fussy socks under neath. I wear I woman's size 10 to 11 and they fit well but snug. Not sure they will fit much larger. The mitts I feel arecbigger in comparison to the boots. They are roomier.- The night before treatment I place them in the freezer . I do not take out the freezer packs inside the mitts and booties to freeze. In stead place them as they came. The booties fold up flat so along with the mitts they do not take up much space in your freezer. They freeze up nice but a bit heavy and I think the socks and mitts being frozen add a bit of comfort when wearing and an added protection to keep the ice packs inside them colder for longer.- I purchased a black cooler for transport that has a large section on bottom with a space to add an ice pack in a designated slot at the top. The cooler has a top section I put a few snacks in such as yougurt and graoes. The center offers plenty of snack , drinks and small meals btw . It is a few hours that they stay in the cooler before I actually have to use them and they a still plenty frozen when I go to put them on for treatment.-:I am able to put these mitts and socks on by myself.- I also think these socks might be good for when your feet are just tired when at home and not going through chemo treatment.- I am able to walk in these booties if I need to use the restroom.I am just loving these so far and so glad I I selected this exact pair.I will try and come back and update my review when my chemo has ended and tell you how they held up and if they helped to prevent neopathy.

Cold therapy mixed results
The gloves worked well. The socks ran small but fit over bare feet. The gel packs in the socks were thin and did not last very long. Will try putting extra gel packs around the socks.
