Wait 24 to 48 hours after applying the herbicide to mow. Hold off on watering as well. Children and pets should be kept off the area for at least one day. If weeds pop up again after you mow, wait three to five days before spraying the herbicide again to let the leaves grow back. Time to be effective is contingent on the weeds in question, i.e. it works better on some than others and takes different times to kill the roots. Simple answer is apply at the rime I have suggested, no remain forecast and no water. Wait 48 hours if possible. **Q: Is there an expiry date?** A: No "use by end" date. **Q: How soon after application can I sow new grass seed or over seeding?** A: Weedol Lawn Weed KIller does not kill grass! It has no effect on the grass, killing only the weeds among the grass. Read the instructions before use and you will be pleased with the results. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes time but works well *by V***4 on 5 August 2023* I moved in to house last year with large garden ( 1/2 acre ). And it also came with lots of weed in lawn this product was really effective.I mixed a solution according to instructions and used with sprayer it took bit longer then expected (took 2 weeks ) to show results and had to go twice to treat the areas not effected.Few things to point outIt did not kill any grass.It killed dandelionsIt killed unwanted blackberry plants ( just spray it on leaves )It did not kill any moss ( tried but failed )It did not kill some other small weeds in lawn but they are not that much damaging the look of the lawn.It will kill the dandelions but it also leaves a round hole in lawn . ### ⭐⭐⭐ Did not kill major weeds *by K***R on 15 May 2025* OK, but major weeds such as Dandelions drooped but revived a few days later.
