Really only works for lumbar area
Works reasonably well for lumbar region. I don't notice any traction in sacral region and very little in thoracic. Easy to set up and use, however I am not able to blow up the supports fully due to the valve size. The hole is too big for any of the pumps I have, too big to do it by mouth and difficult to plug without losing air.It is very compact and portable so I can take it with if I have to leave home. The box it comes in measures 8" x 10" x 4".Though it is a bit pricey, it's worth the money considering the other way is to pay for a therapist or chiropractor to apply traction manually. For a DIY traction device for home it's pretty good.

Absurdly overpriced
This might work for certain issues, but mine is at my L5-S1 disc (very low back), and I could not get the angle right no matter what I tried (yoga blocks, pillow, etc). It would feel good for a moment then it would start to feeling like it was pinching at the wrong angle.REGARDLESS - I am floored by the price of this thing. Itโs literally a strap and 2 pillows you have to blow up. I cannot believe they have the nerve to charge almost $200 for this.

Great Product, Affordable, and Easy to Use
I began using the device in the middle of January after considering buying it for a couple of years. I am very pleased with it and use it 1 โ 2 times per day since I have spinal stenosis as well as some other physical issues that I have been relieving with techniques I learned from physical therapists. I wish they had recommended this decompression, as this is much more convenient and a time saver. My condition may continue to deteriorate somewhat over time, and when my doctor suggested an epidermal or surgery, I finally decided to try the product. I am pleased to say that I can now take long walks with my wife again without discomfort and can bend over much more easily to pick up anything on the floor as it has increased my flexibility as well.If I had to do it over again, I would have bought this much sooner. I would recommend watching all the videos on Dr. Fisher's website before using it for input regarding usage and recommended techniques. I find the product to be very durable, and well worth the price. It has improved my mobility immensely!

So good to have a lower back traction unit that isn't scary to use!
My lower back has been a mess since I was young. So I have for the last 20 years tried to keep my core body strength in good shape and go see the chiropractor on a regular basis. In December I really threw it out. After x-rays, 7 or 8 weeks of PT (where manual lower back traction helped) I finally was able to get an MRI and yes, three slightly budged discs in my back. Instead of going back to PT I decided to try home traction. I live by myself, so an inversion table just seemed not the right choice. There were tables with a hand crank but that seemed a potential for further injury. I decided to try the one that was closest to the manual traction at my PT.Three days... and I felt sooo.... much better. I track my sleep; I have been tossing and turning all night due to the lower back pain. After three days, the tossing and turning was gone. The tightness in my back was gone. I'm on day 10 now and hope that once I'm done with the 21 days that this issue simply won't be an issue anymore. So, why four stars and not five? The waist belt is a bit funky to get into and lay back with. I only have one door in the house to do this with, that might be the problem but getting into it and laying back is not something for someone older or real severe back pain.If you have real severe back pain, go to PT and let them help. Otherwise, give this a try. I'm happy I did!

Be cautious
I would suggest being very careful buying something like this. I have a very bad back had surgery on L4 L5 and I started using this and after about three weeks some of the ligaments around those disc started hurting quite a bit and itโs because I was using this too much. Typically when you use a device like this, it should be used under the care of a physiotherapist or a doctor. Iโm not sure itโs a great idea to do this with no medical support. The concept is great, but be very cautious
