A lifesaver for board repairs
Exactly what I needed to get my project back on track. I accidentally fried a transistor while testing voltage by touching two points together, but this chip made for a quick and easy swap. I pulled the bad one out and slid this one into the slots easily. The board fired right back up and has been working perfectly ever since. I purchased the ALLECIN IRLZ44N IRLZ44 MOSFET Transistors (Pack of 10) for product prototyping, and they have exceeded my expectations. These MOSFETs are logic-level N-channel devices capable of handling continuous drain currents up to 47A and maximum drain-to-source voltages of 55V, making them suitable for a wide range of medium-to-high power switching applications. Technical Highlights: Logic-Level Gate Threshold Voltage (Vgs(th)): Typically around 1-2V, allowing them to fully turn on with 5V or even 3.3V logic signals, ideal for direct interfacing with microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Low Rds(on): Typically around 0.022Ω at Vgs=10V, which means minimal conduction losses and efficient switching. After I bought an MX-S716G lathe and it was practically new but not working, I realized that one of its three Hall sensors was not working, I replaced it with this one and everything worked

First Rate TIP120
Good TIP120. These are first quality parts. They work great in my circuit. I am using them to amplify a zener diode to make a 60 watt zener.

The "L" differs from the "N"
The difference is that the L series MOSFET's gate opens much "wider" than the "N", staring above 5 volts Vgs. Think of it as a "turbo". At Vgs 7-9 V, it can pass a lot more current Vds (on) and that's a blessing for my electric-control application! A beauty!
