Needed this replacement proximity sensor for an iPhone 13 when replacing the screen as the screen didn't come with one. Works great!

Face ID doesn’t work
Bought this because I was impatient when replacing my screen and ripped the cable. Came quick and when I installed the piece it repaired the Face ID functionality of my iPhone 13. Then my phone power cycled and Face ID did not work. That’s apple for you…

THIS IS NOT A SPEAKER. It’s just a cable.
This isn’t the speaker. It’s just the cable for the speaker. No speaker. If your iPhone 13 ear speaker stops working it’s very likely that the connection of this cable has come loose inside your phone. If that’s the case, then you don’t need a new cable or a new speaker. You just have to open your phone, remove the sheet metal cover over the connector, and press it back into its socket. The only painful part is that you MUST replace the adhesive gasket that holds the phone screen onto the phone. Luckily, this cable does come with a new gasket, so I was able to use that. It is a tedious process to peel the old one off a little at a time, and placing the new one is a delicate operation, but if you’ve done phone repairs before, you can probably figure it out. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A SPEAKER. NOT A SPEAKER.
