Revlon ColorSilk Luminista Haircolor, Light Golden Brown

I'm 56 with natural dark "dishwater" blonde hair (and approx 1/4 gray blended in). My hair is baby fine, damages easily, and WAS damaged, so I have to have a non-ammonia product. That's number one in my search for a good product. Ahhh, then the color. I'm Norwegian with golden skin and gray eyes, so I get a washed-out look very easily. This product is perfect dark golden blonde for me. It only lightens a bit after a couple of washes too and looks very natural at that point, with the gray appearing more like highlights. I get compliments daily on the color! It is a little drying, so just be sure its very conditioned before and after coloring. I had an first-time appt w/very popular hair stylist/color specialist who told me "whatever you're using, keep it up because your hair looks healthy in the area since you've been using this product". I brought the box with me and he just advised to let him just cut my hair and continue on with this for coloring. I've paid a small fortune with professionals just to have my hair damaged, so I will stick with this product (and that hair stylist, right?)!

I bought 2 packages of the Lighest Golden Brown shade and after not washing my hair for 24 hours, putting it in my hair for an hour, and blow drying it while the dye was in to heat it up - it literally did NOTHING! It only works on virgin hair (hair that has never been dyed) as my roots were lightened but the rest of my hair is the same exact color as before except now I wasted $10 and it's damaged.

This color didn't work for me at all. My hair turned a bit orange on top which is my fault but I also lost more hair than usual while coloring my hair. The conditioner smelled amazing and I wish they sold it by itself.

Just applied on my hair today and i totaly loved it. My hair was super dark to know a light golden brown. Tryed many other brands but didn't work as much as this did.
