Works great for me.
Been using hearing pro for a long time and have used many different types. These are specifically marketed for sleep over actual hearing pro though. They do that quite well, sealing out most background noise yet allowing an, albeit muffled, voice to be recognizable. Best part, they don't protrude and become uncomfortable for longer hours. Thanks to the prompts below, I am reminded to mention the carrying case - it's a simple, yet very welcomed addition to keep these two items wrangled together. No more searching for a missing one.

Excellent ear plugs for sleeping/dulling loud noise
For the cost, these are very effective and comfortable ear plugs. *They do not block out ALL sound* They do an excellent job at canceling out background noise and dampening loud sounds. But if something loud (like a child crying by your bedside or a fire alarm) sounds, you'll definitely be able to hear it. I appreciate that feature. I have young kids and a wonderful husband who snores. These earplugs help block out his snoring so I can sleep, but also allows me to wake to my kids if I need to. They're also very comfortable to sleep in- I don't wake up with achy ears like I did with the disposable orange ear plugs. They also come with different sizes for your ear, which is very nice. The container is very small and easy to lose, but it has a spot to hook on a keychain, and that's made it easier for me to keep track of the case. Definitely interested in trying their higher end ear plugs, but I highly recommend these.

Ear Plugs For People Who Hate Ear Plugs
I hate ear plugs. I've tried all kinds from the cheap foam earplugs to expensive custom molded earplugs. I use earplugs to block out noise while I'm sleeping. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and I toss and turn all night long. The problem with every ear plug I've tried is I hate the pressure build up in my ears. When I turn on my side the pressure from my pillow against the ear plug is painful too. I've tried to cut the cheap expandable foam ear plugs in half to relieve pressure from inside my ear but nothing works. For me, wearing ear plugs are too painful, both inside of my ear and when laying on my side on my pillow. I have never been able to get through the night wearing ear plugs... until now. I was shocked. Though I am 6' tall, I have small ear canals. Every ear plug I've tried is way too big. On my first night of sleep, I tried the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs with the size small tips. Though there is always a bit of pressure when things are stuffed in your ears, for the first time in my life, I was able to sleep comfortably wearing these ear plugs on the first night. Then I tried the extra small and medium size ear plugs to test whether or not the small size was the perfect fit for me. The extra small did not create a good enough seal and the pressure from the medium size tips was unbearable, as has been my experience with other ear plugs. Switching tips was easy and the ergonomics are excellent, very well designed and easy to insert and remove from my ears. I'm now getting used to wearing the Loop Quiet 2s every night. There's a bit pressure inside of my ears caused by these plugs and, when I lay on my side, my pillow pushes against these plugs too but it's bearable. I'm amazed. So why do I give the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs four out of five stars? The "Quiet" part in the name isn't very "quiet." These ear plugs make ambient noise "quieter" but not quiet. I get a good seal with these ear plugs but I still hear everything, from the compressor of my air conditioner, to a car passing by on the road with closed windows, to my breathing. I highly doubt the 24db noise reduction claim. My guess is that there's more likely a 10 - 15db noise reduction. Still, the performance of these ear plugs are impressive enough to hush out enough noise to make them worth wearing. If there is a way for Loop to come out with Version 3.0 that's even quieter without causing any discomfort whatsoever, they'll have a home run. As of now, the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs are highly recommended.

Must-have for a travel bag
These ear plugs have made a noticeable difference in my sleep quality, especially while traveling. I recently stayed in a hotel room that faced a busy street with constant traffic noise, which would normally make it very difficult for me to get a full night’s rest, especially before an important work event. I decided to try these ear plugs, and they performed better than I expected. They were easy to insert and created a secure, comfortable seal without causing pressure or discomfort, even after wearing them all night. The material feels soft and flexible, which made them much more comfortable than other ear plugs I’ve used in the past. It comes with different sizes of tips, so at least one is likely to fit the shape and size of your ear! In terms of noise reduction, they were very effective. They significantly minimized the sound of traffic and other background noise, allowing me to fall asleep faster and stay asleep through the night. While no ear plug blocks absolutely everything, these reduced the noise enough that it wasn’t disruptive at all. They’re also compact and easy to store, making them convenient to keep in a travel bag or bedside drawer. Overall, these are a reliable option for anyone who needs a quieter environment for sleep, whether at home or on the go.

Finally sleeping through the night — game changer for light sleepers!
I've tried every type of earplug on the market, and the Loop Quiet 2s are by far the most comfortable I've ever worn — including for sleep. I'm a side sleeper and was worried they'd dig into my ear, but they stay surprisingly comfortable all night long. They do occasionally fall out during sleep, which is my only real gripe, but it's a minor one. Noise-wise, they do exactly what I need. I can no longer hear my husband's CPAP machine or our dogs snoring, which means I'm actually getting restful sleep for the first time in ages. They block out most everyday noise without sealing you off from the world completely — I can still hear loud alerts like a smoke detector going off, which was honestly a dealbreaker requirement for me from a safety standpoint. It's a really smart balance. Beyond function, I love that Loop actually put thought into the aesthetics. The color options are fun and the overall look is so sleek compared to the ugly foam plugs I used to stuff in my ears. These feel like something you'd actually want to wear. If you share a bedroom with a snorer, a CPAP user, or restless pets, do yourself a favor and try these. Your sleep quality will thank you.

Not what I expected - but I’m back!
They are very comfortable even side sleeping. However I found the noise reduction less than optimal. I will say that I’m a light sleeper and work night shift so I can’t honestly say I would not recommend them for anyone who is a sound sleeper in a quiet room. There just wasn’t the benefit I expected and will be trying another product. So I tried the blue foam things with a higher noise reduction rating. You know - the ones that stick out of your ears like Shrek. Total fail. I never could get them to actually stay in my ears. So back to the loops. With some time I have adjusted to them and now use them every time I sleep. Some of it was unrealistic expectations in that I thought noise reduction equals no noise but seems that will never be the case. These are comfortable and do reduce enough background noise that they are worth trying. Thus the upgraded review.

Honest review from a nursing student with wonky sleep schedules
I am a nursing student. My sleep schedule is not normal. I'm also not a deep sleeper. On top of that, I'm living in noisy college dorms. These earplugs are mediocre. They do what they claim, muffling the bare minimum noise. The disposable foam earplugs block more sound. I did expect this because the foam ones do block a higher number of decibels. However, they're really not as comfortable as I thought they would be. I did initially use plug sizes that were too large, which made my ears throb from pain the next morning. It felt a lot better after using smaller sizes. If you're a side sleeper, it doesn't matter if the plugs fit right; it can still hurt depending on how much pressure is on your ear. I have incredibly clean ears to the point that my doctors are always shocked at how I have genuinely zero visible wax. But this thing started REEKING of smell. I cleaned it with soap and water daily unless I forgot, yet this thing was STINKY. I figured out by chance that if I use dish soap, the smell instantly goes away, but it was disgusting. Clean your ears and plugs properly if you want to keep these things fresh. Oh, also, make sure you get these things deeper in your ears than you think. I've had them fall out of my ears in the middle of the night multiple times. They definitely hurt less and feel way more sustainable than the foam earplugs. They fall out way less than the foam ones. But honestly? Just wait until the holidays to purchase a better earplug. Maybe even a different, more comfortable model by Loop. I can see these being good for study sessions and travel, but I'd rather just put on my noise-cancelling headphones and listen to music.

Comfortable and worth a try
I’m writing this after my first night using the Loop Quiet Earplugs and so far, I’m impressed. I have a cat who apparently believes 5 a.m. is the perfect time to scream outside my bedroom door like she’s auditioning for a feline opera. For years I used those bulky foam earplugs that never fit right, felt annoying in my ears, and somehow always managed to disappear into another dimension overnight. I saw someone recommend these on Reddit and figured, what do I have to lose? They come with multiple ear tip sizes that snap onto the loop, so you can actually find a fit that works for your ears. Once I got the right size in, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I was skeptical because the noise reduction numbers didn’t sound super high to me, and I worried they wouldn’t block enough sound. But surprisingly, they worked really well. They were also much more comfortable than foam plugs. I’m a side sleeper and thought I’d feel the loop pressing into my ear all night, but I honestly didn’t notice them. Best part? I actually slept pretty soundly the first night. That alone deserves applause. Now the real test will be the garbage truck outside my window sounding like the apocalypse at 6 a.m. If these survive that, they deserve a medal. To be continued. For around $24, I’d say they’re worth trying. They’re reusable for years, so you can also stop throwing away disposable foam plugs every week and do one tiny thing for the planet while you sleep. They do make more expensive models, but I wanted to make sure these worked first. If they keep performing like this, I’d probably upgrade later.

Perfect
These are great earplugs. Not only they are comfortable and easy to put on, they do their job pretty well at blocking the noise.

The best earplugs out there ⭐️
The best earplugs I’ve ever used!! I’ve tried so many different types of earplugs because I am on the spectrum and particularly sensitive to sound. I’ve had these for over a year now and I sleep in them almost every night. They are so comfortable and block out almost all sound without creating that awful suction feeling you can get with some earplugs. The multiple size options mean they fit my ears perfectly and I have had no pain or discomfort from wearing them so much. I also have a daith piercing and they are soft enough to fit underneath it without irritation. I have two pairs now so I keep one next to my bed and one in my handbag. I’ve used them on flights and during exams too and they are ideal, they make everything quiet (so I can focus or relax) but I can still hear just enough to know if an announcement is being made so I know to take them out. They’re the first earplugs I’ve found that actually work without causing pain from wearing them. If you are sensitive to sound, these are the best ones for you!!!

Easy to use and does the job
Easy to use, fit very well, easy to clean, can easily see them lasting a very long time. Came with different sizes but the pre-installed size M worked quite well for me personally.

Nifty little gadgets
These earplugs are great! I somehow expected the 'loop' ring to be softer. But the earplugs are surprisingly comfy to wear, without that feeling of 'fullness' you get with regular earplugs. They fit snuggly and securely in your ear without poking, don't fall out while you are sleeping even when tossing, and effectively block out most night-time noises, like soft snoring, toilet flushing, etc. Hope they last a long time!
