Something that you should know, if you have a Meta Quest and the £80 meta cable to connect to your PC but don't have a USB-C input on your computer? This works fine. Just make sure it is in a USB 3.0 input and so far works great!

I've accumulated quite a few USB-C devices over the last couple of years, but I still have plenty of USB-A chargers, cables and accessories that I don't want to replace. Saves buying new cables. Fit all the bits they’re supposed to. Only used for charging not data transfer. Tiny and can take them anywhere. Versatile, and took a read with no problems. Don’t over heat.

I finally picked up this UGREEN 3-pack because my laptop doesn’t actually have any USB-C ports, and it was starting to become a real headache with all my newer gear. I was honestly a bit skeptical about using adapters for anything important, but the build quality on these is impressive. They feel solid and have a really snug fit, so you don't have to worry about them wiggling around or disconnecting if you move your laptop. The main reason I bought them was because I needed to connect my SteelSeries wireless USB-C dongle to my laptop to run a firmware update. I pretty much now see UGreen as the leading Chinese brand for all my cables and adapter needs. I've not had any problems with anything I've gotten from them so far and this usb-a to usb-c is yet another example of this. Now just be wary the 10gbps transfer speeds only happen if the port is rated for that on both ends, the cable is rated at 10gbps and whatever you are writing to can reach those speeds. This adapter won't make things faster it will just bridge usb-c to work in usb a ports which it does a good job of doing and so. Also be wary as this doesn't have a multiplex chip so you may need to test which way the correct orientation of your usb c cable needs to be if you want the full speed of the usb port.

I have recently become an owner of a PC docking station and this has a USB-C connection however I am still using an ageing but reliable workhorse of a Dell Optiplex desktop PC which has USB-A ports only. I purchased this pack of adaptors so that I can connect the station to my PC. The three pack are housed in a simple clear pouch with a small booklet enclosed. Each adaptor has a plastic top on the USB-A side. They are a good small size so in terms of portableness they get a thumbs up. Now when it comes to ease of use you cannot get any more straight forward, so I simply plugged the USB-A side into my PC and the docking station lead into the USB-C side. My PC then acknowledged the docking station and as I inserted various devices such as security keys and USB drives into the docking station they all registered and were ready to use. Obviously if there was an issue with the USB adaptor this would have not been possible. UGREEN are a well known tech brand and have a reputation for selling great devices and accessories, this is another in that long line. For the price I paid the pack of three are very good value, they look good, are excellent quality and function as promised. This is an easy recommendation.

These I now have over a year, maybe two, would be lost without them, especially when on the road or in a hotel. Not a lot to say except that very well made does the Job they say it will do, and very good for Data Transfer, but also for charging, find them amazing for that too.

The only downside is their small size, which makes them easy to lose. Buying a pack of three is definitely a good idea for that reason. Overall, a great product.

Den UGREEN USB-C-Adapter nutze ich, um USB-C und USB-A miteinander zu verbinden. Viel kann man dazu eigentlich nicht sagen: Der Adapter funktioniert und erfüllt genau seinen Zweck. Solche kleinen Adapter sind im Alltag praktisch, weil man immer wieder Geräte, Kabel oder Zubehör hat, bei denen der Anschluss gerade nicht passt. Gerade bei USB-C und USB-A ist es angenehm, ein paar passende Adapter griffbereit zu haben. Die Verarbeitung macht einen ordentlichen Eindruck, die Verbindung funktioniert bei mir zuverlässig und ich hatte bisher keine Probleme damit. Für meinen Einsatzzweck ein simples, aber nützliches Zubehörteil. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
