Bright and compact. Put one in every drawer.
I don't remember how I came across these minimal LED flashlights, but it may have been one of those "Cool things I've found on Amazon" youtube videos. I was initially attracted by the compactness and simplicity of these lights. First, I'll tackle compactness: They are exactly 50% larger than a regular 9V battery. Simplicity, you take the tiny LED array and place it directly onto the positive/negative terminals of any 9V battery. That's it...that's all there is to it. To turn on the light, you press a small raised pimple-sized button on the side of the LED array. There is a little tactile feedback and the light comes on. Press the pimple again to turn it off. These lights are small and cheap ($4 to $5, depending on the quantity you order and the cost of your 9V batteries). The first time I ordered six and I threw one in each of my bedside nightstands throughout my house. Almost immediately, I ordered more for dresser drawers, kitchen drawers, bathrooms and my garage. I live in Texas and our horrible power grid is unstable. So I want to be able to find a small flashlight immediately during a power outage. Recently, a friend came to stay with me for a week and I had a couple of my gunsmithing "projects" out on my kitchen table. I always have one of these lights in the middle of the gun parts, because they're handy. I should also mention here that the light's flat-sided design keeps them from rolling off a table - or rolling to the back of a drawer. Anyway, my houseguest was fascinated by these little lights and asked me about them. Without missing a beat, I went ahead and her a set of 12 and had Amazon ship them to her house. The only problem I can find with these lights, is that they're like candy. You think you've purchased enough of them, but then they wind up in cabinets and bookcases and couch cushions, and before you know it you need to order some more to replenish your drawers. Needless to say, I'm now on my 3rd or 4th order. I should also mention that there have been ZERO failures with any of these lights I have purchased.

No more bulky lanterns
Love these little things. They are safer to use during a blackout cause I have a couple of rambunctious cats. I don’t have to worry about my long haired silly cat walking by this and catching himself on fire. (yes my cat really did catch himself on fire walking by a candle during a blackout and yes he is perfectly fine. Just a good sized singed spot on his fur and no skin damage)They’re tiny so they don’t take up space and give off a good amount of light. These are serious life savers. I can get rid of some of my flashlights/lanterns now that are taking up a lot of space in my blackout drawer. The simple on/off button is great. It’s so easy to operate. A soft press is all you need. My elderly neighbor has bad arthritis and she can use these easily. Pressing it down onto the battery can be tricky. My kiddo has a hard time with it but I think they’re just man handling it. I just set it on top of the battery then squeeze them together. It does take a bit of pressure but not much.

Nice little lights
I like these lights. They put out quite a bit of light, but the switch is easy to bump, and shut it off. Once in a while I've even had them shut off on their own. They grip the connectors on the battery pretty well, but it is possible to knock them off the battery with out too much effort, if your not careful.

Handiest, easy to use
The best small light source. Ideal for bedside next to alarm clock. Only about half the size of the energy source (battery) Simple soft push button to trun on/off.

Push button too easy to turn on in pocket.
The lights are quite bright and compact but they could have been made with a switch instead of a push button because with a push button, they turn on easily and are not suitable for carrying them around. The ad does state that they are not suitable for carrying, however, I ordered a second set because they provide plenty of light and are perfect little give a ways. I should point out that one light in my second order of six lights did not work and the sell immediately replaced the defective light without delay. I will order more in the future as little give a ways. Also, I placed a small magnet on the metal part of the battery so that I can place the light on metal giving me the freedom of using both hands to work on a project that requires using both hands. You can remove the magnet on the spent battery and place it on a new battery when the time comes to replace the old battery.

Bright light, easy to turn on/off
Good to have on your desk for quick light. Not advisable to carry in your pocket, as the light will separate from the battery. One light eventually gave out, but the rest are very bright.
