I’ve been using this matte screen protector on my work iPad since May, and it’s easily one of my favorite accessories I’ve purchased for it. The anti-glare coating makes a huge difference, especially when working near windows or under bright office lighting. The biggest surprise, though, has been how well it hides fingerprints. My screen used to constantly look smudged, but now it stays looking clean throughout the day with very little effort. The installation frame made applying it simple, and it’s held up well after months of daily use with no issues. The matte finish does slightly soften the display compared to bare glass, but it’s a trade-off I’d happily make for the reduction in glare and fingerprints. If you use your iPad for work, note-taking, or long periods throughout the day, I’d absolutely recommend this screen protector.

Finding a screen protector that delivers a proper writing feel without ruining screen clarity is tough, but Mothca nailed it. The etched matte finish is smooth, cuts glare effectively, and avoids that awful fuzzy distortion common on textured films. I pair this with titanium alloy nibs to mimic the tactile feedback of my fountain pens, and the combination is easily the best digital writing setup I have used. If you write constantly and care about precise tactile drag, this is the solution. ​What genuinely sets this company apart, though, is the customer support. I was interrupted during the initial installation and managed to crack a corner. There was a card in the box offering assistance for installation mishaps, so I reached out through Amazon. I made it clear it was entirely my fault and offered to pay for a replacement since the protector itself was exactly what I wanted. Instead, they sent a replacement right away without hesitation. ​That level of support is rare these days. Fantastic writing feel, crisp display clarity, and an honest company standing behind their product. Mothca will be my first stop for every screen protector moving forward. Highly recommended.

The Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector for iPad Air 11-inch exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward with clear instructions, and the fit is precise. The matte surface provides a smooth finish, reduces glare and fingerprints while maintaining excellent screen clarity. The product is well-priced and performs exactly as described. My only minor critique is that the packaging, while protective and attractive, felt excessive for such a simple item. Overall, a great purchase and highly recommended.

The Bad: Watch and especially listen to my video and you'll see (and hear) that the Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector is not made of glass at all. The product description specifically lists its material as "tempered glass". It's not. It's some type of plastic. Now that I've gotten that out of my system: The Good: The screen protector does have a matte finish which I love because it all but eliminates glare at most angles. It's a multi-function screen: Protection, anti-glare, and smudge-resistant (at least appearance-wise). The Great: This isn't my first screen protector to include a kit that makes perfect alignment simple, but it's a much bigger screen than a phone, so a kit like this matters much more with a tablet. It allows for an almost fool-proof installation. I did initially see a few bubbles under the protector but I fairly easily eliminated them using a thin but stiff plastic card. I would have rated this product at a solid five stars, but I just can't get past it being called glass when it's clearly (pun intended) not. I don't think it's really inferior to glass, but the seller should really temper (another pun, sorry) expectations by listing the real material it's made of.

Good screen protector and good feel, it should come with two. There are way too many things that can go wrong while installing it. On top of that the screen aligner does not fit and the screen protector was constantly getting caught on the lip of it. I can't in good faith recommend this to people but if it's the only option go for it as the quality over all is nice, just terrible terrible application process. I am hoping this is just me and that everyone else had an easier experience but I was very frustrated as soon as I did exactly what the instructions said only for there to be air bubbles in the corners that won't go away and I did not have a second one to try again.

The best screen protector I ever had and tried. Instalation was farily easy as i have installed many. The anti reflection is amazing and works wonderful without distorting the image. Would recommend for your big screen tablet as glare is a big issue with regular protectors

As other reviews have stated, it's smooth enough that it feels like glass with your hands and textured enough that you can feel some feedback with your pen. If you have any experience using Huion/XP-pen screen tablets, it's similar to their anti-glare laminated glass texture. You will notice some anti-glare sparkle (Google "Anti-glare sparkle Sevenpens" to get an idea of what it looks like) which is expected when applying any texture to tablet screens. If you're a traditional artist I would describe the texture as analogous to a Strathmore bristol paper, smooth to the touch but noticeable feedback. One important note for the application to minimize airbubbles, don't use their included bracket. Use the tried and true method of turning on the bathroom sink/after a shower and apply your screen protector then. Carefully align the protector on your screen manually. Then apply it on either side WHILE pushing out air bubbles with the other hand. I tried following their instructions and it led to distracting penny sized air bubbles around the screen. I reapplied it with my steps and now only extremely tiny bubbles remain at the very edge of the screen. If I could do it again I would've been more patient to get a perfect application but as an artist I'm happy with the amount of texture this screen protector has.

Applying the screen protector was pretty easy with the included guide, the protector fits well on the screen. I did get some small bubbles that I mostly got rid of aside from one that seems a bit stubborn. I think that is user error. I just applied it recently so I can’t attest to durability, however the feel of the screen is nice and it definitely helps reduce reflection on the screen significantly. The trade off to this is that the image is definitely not quite as sharp looking as it would be with a regular screen protector, so be aware that the image will look a tad more fuzzy. Nothing horrible but noticeable nonetheless. I’d recommend the product with the stipulation being that it isn’t a perfect solution. I also think it would be better to make it a 2 pack as often times things go wrong when applying a screen protector, and $15 for one is a bit on the high side.

Impressed by this protector. Applying the screenprotector was really easy. I took the matte version and there is no reflection at all. Not sure if it soms the brightness of the colors as I applied it before starting the tablet for the first time. The s pen feels like scratching over paper, which is fine as well. Considering buying one for my smartphone as well.
