Salomon Mens Speedcross 6

These shoes are a godsend for me! Didn’t realize Salomon made wide fit hiking shoes until I had a botched foot surgery recently that requires me to where wider fit shoes. And boy are they comfortable! The quick release lacing system is also fantastic for quick entry and exit from the shoe. They are extremely durable and very comfortable even after hours of hiking. They look sharp and are easy to clean. They fit my feet great and provide ample toe room. The insoles are surprisingly comfortable even with my high arches. Waterproof feature is nice and my feet don’t seem to get hot or sweat even after hours of wear. I think I forgot to say, they are grippy on rock surfaces and I didn’t have any issues with grip or slipping on damp stones. As always, another set of quality shoes from Salomon, even despite a bung foot.

Yes, I'm. FACTs: I didn't purchase the GTX model, Nooo, I didn't. However, next time, I possibly will. Nevertheless ... Salomon's quality fit, impressive design, Conta Grip sole, comfort performance, high durability fabrics and combined innovative materials ... gives a superior experience each time I adorn my feet with these. Gripping into all surfaces as they anchors my feet and bites into earth's multifaceted terrain. Predominantly ... these ARE trail runners, but I, utilize them for my everyday walking needs. ADDED FACTs: They're are impressively lite weight and invitingly breathable. Also, NOTE: When they get wet, via rain ... puddles, or ponding water. They dry out quite easily and quickly. CONCLUSION: I'm extremely confident in my Speedcross 6s expected performance. Moreover, being streamlined for my narrow feet. I gravitate to these (always) to chop into my daily walk-path. Oh Yeah! Did I mention the awesome value for money? Totally, worth it. Yes! I wholeheartedly DO RECOMMEND for the trails (made for it) ... and just to comfortably step around town ... added bonus, (MADE for it).

I am a mailman. On a work day, I routinely get 29,000 steps. That's 13-14 miles, 5 days a week, 260 miles a month. As you can imagine, I go through shoes pretty quickly. We consider getting 6 months out of a pair to be pretty good. Usually at 2-3 months, they start coming apart. I've tried Salomon's hiking shoes, but they really didn't hold up for more than 4.5-5 months. So I decided to try running shoes. They're designed for miles. These shoes lasted me 8 months. And they would have lasted longer, but I wore the soles off of them. Structurally, they are still in great shape, but they are bald, as you can see in the pics. (Pics are old versus new) There was no painful break in period. They were comfortable all the way through. They have great grip with these cleats. Slips are a big deal in my job, and I never slipped once with these. Even in the state they're in, I still had pretty good grip. I was hesitant about the laces at first, but really came to like them. I cannot recommend these enough.

These shoes are probably the best looking & most functional I've owned. They are freakishly sturdy and have unbelievable traction and grip. I wish they made them in a zero drop configuration. They'd probably outperform my Metcons for the gym. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I’ve owned at least 6 pairs of the various versions of the Spedcross shoe over the years. The latest (Speedcross 6) has proven to be the best with a slightly more durable rubber formulation used in the outsole. The fit is reliably comfortable and Salomon has myriad colour offerings drab to bright to match any taste. These are awesome shoes!

Been using On trail runners for years, but totally hate all of their new re-designs that I tried, and started looking for another brand. I do a lot of running in mud/snow/ice and wanted something with a lot of grip/teeth on the bottom and these looked perfect. First run I was AMAZED. I purposely tried a rough trail to test them out, and they totally held their grip every steep icy & snow covered trail I could throw at it, no additional traction was needed at all. With the new On shoes I would have needed micro spikes. Super happy with how they hold up on trails. Was a little worried about the lacing system, but I love that too. Super easy to use and tightens up perfectly. They come on and off like slippers. Very comfortable, and seem to hold up in the cold really well. Was trekking through knee-deep snow with them and had no issues at all. Love these shoes, PLEASE do not change the design hahah.

I love these shoes. I’ve bought three pairs now. From street wear to trail runs this does it all. My girl thinks they are ugly but I like their stylish black look and the performance cannot be matched. Traction on slick rocks, mud, and pavement sticks like glue. The soft soles do wear quickly if used for street wear. But with my added insoles the comfort and fit is the best I’ve ever had, while the goretex keeps my socks and feet dry in the quickly changing weather conditions of Appalachia.

Une marque et des chaussures de qualité. Par rapport à la speedcross4, l'amorti est sensiblement plus dur sur route, mais l'accroche me paraît meilleure. Le col de la chaussure est un peu plus haut, mais ce n'est pas gênant. Pour ma part, la pointure 44 2/3 est la taille idéale.
