UPF 50+ UV Protection Travel Umbrella Ultra Light Weight

Own several of these travel umbrellas and have one in each vehicle. After major facial surgery due to skin cancer damage I don't walk 5 feet outside in summer without one of these umbrellas. Easy to deploy, size is comfortable even in crowed areas (outdoor concerts), weight is minimal and overall quality is top notch.

I bought this for a summer trip to Korea and it’s been a reliable travel companion. It’s a little heavier than I expected, but the trade-off is that it feels very sturdy and doesn’t bend or flip in the wind the way cheaper umbrellas do. The UPF 50+ rating gives extra peace of mind on sunny days, and it definitely helps keep me cooler when walking around. I also appreciate that it comes with its own case, which makes it easy to slip into a backpack or tote without getting everything else wet. Overall, a solid choice if you want an umbrella that works well for both sun and light rain.

I love this little guy. I’ve tested a few uv umbrellas and this is my winner for non windy days. It’s light enough to hold up for long periods of time. Is sturdy enough so as to withstand regular light breezes and is compact to carry in my bag or around my wrist without being annoying. I have purchased it twice because i used it in a super heavy wind day and .. well it’s not meant for that. But it did so well on regular days that I did want to repurchase it.

We got this umbrella after one of my family members went to Turkey to have a hair transplant and needed to stay out of the sun. This umbrella was the perfect size for one person. We were in the middle of an intense heat wave while abroad and we were all trying to get under the umbrella given it felt about 10 degrees cooler in the umbrella shade. My only complaints are it only held up okay in the wind and I wish it were a bit more compact with us using it while traveling. It was still small enough to easily stuff in a back pack, but a bit large for a purse.

I read every single review on UV protection travel umbrellas and I landed on this one for a trip to Mexico where it was 90-100 degrees everyday. I took this everywhere and used it all the time. I'm positive it saved me from sunburns but I also was more comfortable under shade. My friends were dripping sweat from their brows and I wasn't. Light enough to not think twice about throwing it in my bag everyday. I didn't use it in wind or rain. Opening it is easy. But, like some reviewers said, compressing it back into it's folded form takes a bit of effort. Not the worst but not a delight to fold up. Still completely worth it. Highly recommend for skin protection and high heat sun exposure.

Bought it the UV protection not the rain. It pops up nicely but somehow I hit the down button and it popped down and scared me to death. Now that I know how it works, I like it. You do have to "dock" it however if you want to fold it up. I have to push it against my body to get the handle to collapse into the fabric. Not a problem though. It is not very pretty and probably would not have bought it for the rain, but is it perfect for thr UV protection I need. Although I probably do look pretty silly walking on a sunny day with my umbrella.

Great sun protection, while it lasts! I teach people to ride motorcycles. I do this in the "high desert," or the desert, right in the middle of the mountains. I've had a few occasions to break out the umbrella for students that are overheating. Instant shade. It would have been given five stars, because of its compact nature, ease of open and closure, and performing its stated function. The problem is in its wind resistance - non-existent, and its durability - very low. A stiff desert breeze ended its tenure as my sun blocking umbrella. It flipped inside out and ripped.

Fue una excelente compra, ya lo he usado varias veces y me salvado mucho en estas épocas de lluvia, la funda es perfecta porque no se transfiere el agua, lo cual es ideal si es necesario guardarlo en tu bolsa, no se mojará nada (a menos que esté acostado y aún mojada la sombrilla) pero realmente recolecta el agua que la escurriendo la cual puedes vaciar después de un rato; para abrirlo es rápido, para cerrarlo es un poco duro pero justamente es para ejercer presión al cerrarlo, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Really solidly built umbrella. Just the right size when open and folds up to a great compact size.

Nice and slim when closed. A really great size (medium) for sun protection.

Good sun protection and say to use with automatic function

I have recently purchased this umbrella to block the sun on my way to work. I can see the following: 9/10 for sun blocking as advertised. 6/10 for windy weather. It was not very sturdy against wind. 9/10 opening/closing mechanism. I had no problems regarding that. 10/10 in size as it was very suitable to me. I have given it 9 as I did not try it in 40+ degrees sun yet. I suggest you use it during the summer or at the beach.
