I order this for my browning challenger lll even though is said it was for a new version the buckmark . Upon reading the reviews there was one where the buyer used this on his challenger and had to sand down little to make it work . So I took a chance and it was awesome this rail fit like a glove no sanding just a little lock tight and my red dot fits on my 20year old gun thank you

The slots are too narrow at 0.150 inches and rounded at the bottom rather than square. Easily fixed using a hand drill like a side mill The specification for the slots are as follows: Picantinny 0.206 +.008 inches Weaver 0.180 The scope mounts are supposed to have square cross bars The mounts shipped with the UntraDot I have were simply threaded Allen head bolts (NOT to spec) at 0.152 inches. I agree 0.002 undersized is not much, but it is enough that it would not fit. I used a #23 drill at 0.154 to hog it out and now it's good to go. VERY important is the excellent fit on top of the slide (a good thing). This is CRITICAL as this piece is part of the pistol functioning mechanism. Browning of late disappoints. You'd think they would look up the Picatinny specification and get this right. I wonder why they didn't.

Seems to be a quality piece. Shipping was a bit of a surprise. The item qualified for the free shipping but it was slow! I was notified my item shipped from Amazon in Atlanta a day or two after I ordered (but I did order in the middle of the night) and the ETA of the shipment was something around two weeks! Wish I was home for the delivery, I'd like to see if they use mules or horses ;) I can drive to Atlanta in three hours. The post office is only a couple days. Anyway, the base looks good on my gun, easy to install (to be safe keep the gun upright the installation does expose the recoil assembly),but overall I am happy.

Direct replacement. Very easy to change out on my buck mark. It's nice to have the option to add any optic I want with the picatinny rail.

Browning product. Fits like a glove. Easy to install. What you get doesn't justify the price. It is what it is..

Great value for the money. Unlike most Buckmark scope mounts that are picatinny, this one doesn’t have sharp edges which is good because you don’t scratch up your hand when racking the slide to reload or clear a jam, which is a plus for a Steel Challenge Rimfire shooter. The finish matches the gun perfectly. Super easy to install.

Can be used for a Buckmark LBP, with some modification... The front section, under the screw hole, is flat, and my LBP has a round barrel... 15mins carefully filing with a round file and it fits perfectly. Biggest downside is that this doesnt include the locking countersunk washers, which are a requirement!
