I tore a rotator cuff tendon and my doctor said I needed surgery. I wanted to avoid surgery at all cost so I bought this. Now, a couple months later, I don't need surgery. My shoulder is doing a lot better. This is holding the tear together so it can heal. It enables me to use my arm without damaging or causing pain to my shoulder so I'm avoiding frozen shoulder because I can move pain-free. Without it, my shoulder starts to ache. As long as I have this on, my shoulder doesn't hurt. And the best part is the ice pack compartment inside. Before I got this, I struggled to ice. With this, I'm free to walk around and the ice pack doesn't shift everywhere. My only complaint is I'm a woman and it's a little too big so I wrap the strap around itself twice before velcroing it to the shoulder area. Some people complain about it being difficult to put on. If you thread the arm strap through and velcro it down first, then slide it up your arm and adjust it after its on, its so much easier. This was a life-saver and I'm so glad I bought it!

Need to adjust the side that will be on the back first. Then it will be eaiser to adjust the front side. Pretty comfortable. Easy to wear over a shirt, as well. My skin is sensitive to neoprene, so I'm glad I can wear a shirt under this brace. Not as restrictive as I would like for my particular shoulder issue, but still fairly effective.

Ok here it is the good and bad. I’m almost 61, I train hard and I’ve had pain in my right shoulder and I’ve searched for alternatives rather than therapy, surgery or drugs. I’ve done a ton of research before I pulled the trigger on this brand. First off most all of them are built the same way I have noticed but I liked this one because the price it’s a mere 15 dollars. I did read reviews some saying it was too big for them and that’s another reason I picked this one. I’m 6’2 255 with a 50 inch chest and 19-20 inch arms and this DOES fit, in fact this is adjustable so it will fit a lot of sizes if you have smaller upper arms then it might be an issue because you want it tight. You can put this on easily by yourself and I’m not very flexible it has adjustments on the back and front but the one I do not like is under the armpit. Now just about if not all of these I have researched that adjustment is all in the same place this might be a deal breaker for some but not me I tightened it as much as I could because you want that tension in that area this shoulder brace works almost like pressure points or kinetic tape however I felt there wasn’t enough pressure on the side or top of my shoulder but it did help me get thru a light chest workout BUT it doesn’t give enough support for heavier weight. All in all I will keep using this in my bench routine and tweak the adjustments to see if I can better the tension but I still consider it a fair purchase and would recommend this brand it’s a better bang for the buck compared to others. Bought XL the fit was perfect I was worried because my arm circumference is large but it wasn’t a problem . It fit very comfortable. Support is great. Love that it’s adjustable and gas place for ice pak. Overall I’m very pleased. It gave more support than I actually expected. If you’re needed arm/shoulder support this is the one to get. No disappointment at all.

doesnt suit the purpose, it is very uncomfortable to wear and my doctor confirmed this is worthless

I finally can get some pain relief. I put a topical pain relief cream, alternate between cold/ hot pads and I'm able to move much better. It does limit a bit of movement, but just so that you don't keep reinjuring.

It works somehow probably... I tried to use them while training... I do not feel any support, its moving too. Did give it a try a couple of times but stopped using it after a few times. Tape works much better.

Na van alles geprobeerd te hebben, zit de brace nog altijd niet lekker. Drukt hard bovenop de schouder waardoor het gaat irriteren. Dat heeft misschien met de lichaamsbouw te maken: ik ben een man van 1.90 met uiteraard zeer goed geproportioneerde (maar pijnlijke) schouderpartij. Maar het is niet de hoofdprijs gelukkig. De brace is symmetrisch, maar dat zijn normaal gesproken schouders niet. Misschien dat iemand met wel symmetrische schouders helemaal blij wordt van deze brace?
