This House is Ablaze
Firehouse came to the 80's Hair Metal Scene at a time when music was about to change to Grunge. Unfortunately Firehouse didn't receive the recognition that they deserve, they are a very capable band, who wrote songs that should have had them up there with the likes of Motley Crue and Poison. Having owned this album on vinyl, it was one of the ones that I wanted on cd as I didn't want to miss the band.

Some may complain about the high pitch voice screeching at times but I love this Glam Metal album to bits each and every time I hear it. If you like glam metal you will really like this whole album, if you don't like that late 1980's and early 1990's music with understandable screaming then you will not like this album at all. However for those of you not familiar with music of the late 1980's and early 1990's glam metal the screaming I'm talking about is nothing like "Slipknot" "Five Finger Death Punch" or anything modern. It has a vary distinctive sound to it that a lot of people dislike and probably rate this album 1 or 2 stars because of it.
