The description says it is waterproof that it definitely is and I haven’t found it noisy to sleep on. I don’t put a sheet over it as being terry towelling it’s not necessary. I find it very comfortable to sleep on and although I felt a little warmer the first night I slept on it I haven’t sweat at all. It has got blood on it every night and I just take it off the bed and spray the affected areas with a oxygen based stain remover I used Tesco’s own brand, throw it in the washer and wash as normal at 40°C using a bio washing liquid and give it an extra rinse cycle as I prefer to make sure that all the detergent has been removed. Every single stain has come out and the washing process has not affected the waterproof qualities in any way whatsoever. It’s is so easy to put on my king size bed and although I have a very deep mattress there is still plenty to tuck under the mattress and the elasticated corner straps hold it in place. This is a really good quality waterproof sheet especially when you consider that it costs way under it tenner (£10) and I have no doubts about recommending it, how long it will last only time will tell but it is not an expensive thing to replace with a new one when it does eventually wear out and start leaking. 5* product Review: Quiet, comfortable, and fits deep mattresses perfectly! - This Utopia Bedding mattress protector is an absolute must-have for keeping your bed safe from spills and stains. The terry cloth top is a fantastic feature because it is soft, breathable, and completely eliminates that annoying, crinkly plastic noise you usually get with waterproof covers. You can sleep peacefully without feeling like you are rolling around on a tarp! One of the biggest selling points is how well it actually fits. The elastic skirt stretches easily to accommodate deep mattresses up to 40 cm thick, meaning it tucks securely underneath and stays firmly in place without pinging off the corners in the middle of the night. Overall, it is a high-quality, durable, and highly effective protector that does exactly what it promises while remaining perfectly unnoticeable under your bedsheets. I highly recommend picking this up to extend the life of your mattress! ## Features - 100% Waterproof Mattress Protector: This Mattress Protector perfectly fits Double size bed measuring 135 x 190 cm and stretches up to 40 cm deep. - Soft & Comfortable Terry Top: Terry top surface preserve the soft cozy feel of the fabric and provide ultimate comfort and noiseless sleep experience. - High Quality Waterproofing: Durable Waterproof top and high quality seam construction protects against spill and wetness from passing through. - Effortless Stretch Fitted Mattress Protector Skirt: Our highly flexible skirt design makes it easy to slip the mattress protector over your mattress, ensuring a secure and comfortably snug fit every time. - Oeko-Tex Certified: The mattress protector has been tested for harmful substances according to the OEKO-TEX standard, guaranteeing a peaceful and worry-free night's sleep. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B077T9VNSB | | Age Range Description | Child | | Best Sellers Rank | 112 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 2 in Mattress Protectors | | Brand | Utopia Bedding | | Brand Name | Utopia Bedding | | Closure Type | Pull On | | Closure type | Pull On | | Colour | White | | Country Of Origin | Pakistan | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 110,379 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00840143561385 | | Included Components | 1 Piece Mattress Protector | | Item Display Dimensions | 190 x 135 centimetres | | Item Type Name | Mattress Protector | | Manufacturer | Utopia Bedding | | Manufacturer Part Number | EU0044 | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Name | Matratzenschoner | | Model Number | EU0044 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Water Proof | | Product Care Instructions | Machine wash cold on gentle cycle; tumble dry low | | Size | Double - 135 x 190 x 40 cm | | Special feature | Water Proof | | Thread Count | 500 | | UPC | 840143561385 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Utopia Bedding - **Colour:** White - **Fabric Type:** Polyester - **Size:** Double - 135 x 190 x 40 cm - **Special feature:** Water Proof ## Images ![Waterproof Mattress Protector Double Bed 135 x 190 cm, Fits Up to 40 cm Deep Mattresses, Premium Terry Mattress Protector by Utopia Bedding - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ARPMMVMBL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you confirm the size of this please as it says 140x200 in the title but 135x200 in the description** A: I dont know the size but fits our double bed extremely well. We have a thick mattress and it fits over that brilliantly. The last one we purchased lifted up mattress side each day. This stays fitted down side doesn't move. **Q: What number do you wash this on** A: I would say 40 C. Ours was for an elderly adult and we soon realised the importance of having two; one on the bed, one being washed. We were very pleased with them; we should have started using them much earlier. If for an adult, there are also waterproof pads that are the width of the mattress but only about 75cm deep, which again we should have started earlier. **Q: Will it fit 10inch depth mattress** A: I’m not sure the depth of my mattress and was apprehensive if it would fit mine as it’s a thick mattress but it fits perfectly **Q: This item has just arrived, put it straight on the bed and it’s very noisy whenever we move in bed. After washing does the noise soften?** A: The answer is yes it does soften, but I put another over it, as I found we got very hot, it is fine then but the elastic gives quickly and now after 6 months it moves and wrinkles up, I am about to try and replace the elastic, on the other hand I think I will ditch it and find something better. Good luck ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s definitely waterproof and easy to clean. *by M***. on 18 August 2026* I have been sleeping on this for almost a week now and it has been washed each and every day. Very deep fitting (almost too deep as its a bit baggy) but it does the job. One star knocked off as one of the pictures shows a hand sinking into the material like its 2 cm thick. It absolutely isn't and is almost as smooth as a t shirt material. A little deceptive or maybe just artistic license. 🤔 Otherwise it works as intended. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/63494019-waterproof-mattress-protector-double-bed-135-x-190-cm-fits](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/63494019-waterproof-mattress-protector-double-bed-135-x-190-cm-fits) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
