ncredible Quality & Precision, A Must-Have Knife Set
his MITSUMOTO SAKARI 4-piece Japanese chef’s knife set completely exceeded my expectations. Each knife feels incredibly well-balanced, sharp, and thoughtfully crafted, and you can immediately tell they’re hand-forged with real attention to detail. They glide through everything (vegetables, meat, herbs, with absolutely no effort, and the handles sit comfortably in your hand, giving you control without feeling heavy. The set covers all the essentials, looks beautiful on the counter, and genuinely elevates the cooking experience. For the price and quality, it’s an amazing find and one I’m happy I added to my kitchen.

Very nice and very sharp
This is the first time that I decided to splurge on kitchen knives. As somebody who used to purchase individual knives because they were on sale or as needed, I immediately noticed a difference. Anyone who complains about Rust is just not taking care of their knives appropriately. The box comes with knife oil so that you can take care of the blades that you don’t use regularly for long-term storage. However, if you are somebody who uses your knives regularly and keep them clean, these are going to last you quite a while. The spines are very thick and the blades themselves have been crafted beautifully. I’m quite proud to show them off when I’m cooking. I purchased this when it was on sale for around $150 so about $50 a knife with a free pairing knife thrown in. So the cost is fair. I will say that the handles could be better as they don’t feel like real wood? This for me is a non issue as the primary reason I purchased a Japanese style knife is so that I could replace the handles instead of having to go and buy a new blade. The box itself is nice for presentation, but I don’t see myself using it for long-term storage. It’s honestly a little cheap feeling. But hey, it’s just a box. The knives are also quite well balanced just past the heel of the blade.

Why didn’t I buy these earlier
I expected less of a knife considering the price. I was mistaken. I’m not a chef but a biased home foodie. I love cooking and this has been the best set I have ever owned. Better than my Henkels or “kitchen sets.” I love the look and the feel of the knives. So worth the money spent.

What Every Knife Should Do!!
These knives are incredible! They come in a nice-looking box and have a reusable bag if you want to take them with you, but they really get the job done. It is a pleasure to carve meat, slice vegetables etc. They stay sharp, hand wash well, have a great handle for grip and do everything a good knife should do. They would make excellent gifts. My husband loves them, and we both would recommend them highly!

Nice!
I purchased this set of knives to prepare myself for really nice knives that are actually made in Japan. I want to learn how to use these and get used to taking care of carbon steel before I spend the big bucks. I'm a very picky person with high attention to detail... the craftsmanship on the steel on these knives looks awesome. The handles ain't perfect but good enough for the price. Depending on how they hold up for the next year or so I might not even spend the money to upgrade... THESE ARE NICE KNIVES!

Sharp knives that need getting used too. Girl friend is very impressed! She couldn't understand why I bought these but after trying them there is no turning back. Great knives and what a look. Can just imagine what a Samurai sword was like but these are very sharp. Being stainless steel rusting problems are low and don't need to be babied like carbon knives. A very good midrange set of knives especially for the price. They are a very attractive and everyone that walks in the kitchen comments on these knives.

Well I’ve been using high end German knives for the last 40 years. These are my first ‘Japanese’ knives, and I made a rookie error and cut my finger! That’s how sharp they are. And cheap! Four knives for 350$. But here’s the thing - are they going to STAY sharp? IDK sorry. Are they going to resharpen well? IDK I’m sorry. But, especially considering the cheap price, I would definitely recommend you buy this 4 knives pack. They are UNBELIEVABLY sharp straight out of the box.
