This pillow is so comfortable and has provided much needed relief for my sprained knee. However, if you are considering this pillow for leg elevation after surgery, it may not be the right choice because it could be too short for you. In my case, I am only 5'3", so my feet do not hang off the end of the pillow. It is important to have your entire leg and foot supported by the pillow if you are injured or recovering from surgery, and this would not be the right pillow for a tall person. This is more of a general use pillow to elevate your tired legs and feet, though it could be used post-surgery by smaller people. I like that it can used in different ways. I also like the handles on the side to make it easy to carry around. I love it!

Perfect for our needs. Son had surgery on both legs and has to keep legs elevated for 6 weeks in casts wedge allows to go under thighs and for heels to hang over edge to prevent heel soreness. Material is dense and high quality. It’s wide enough for both legs to fit comfortably.
