Great follow-up to a cult classic. An excellent game with a great story, though it can feel a little confusing or weird at times. I love the connections to the expanded universe, the characters, and the FMV mixed into the game. I hope they keep moving forward and make a part 3 to connect with Control and other games in the universe even more.

This video game will literally blow your mind. Aside from The Evil Within series, nuanced with True Detective, Twilight Zone and David Lynch craziness & morbidly fun humor there is nothing comparable in the game world. Should have 100% won best game of the year, if not decade. Fans of the 1st Alan Wake, be prepared for your jaw to drop This mind bending psychological roller coaster ride will leave you speechless. No exaggeration. Revolutionary and insanely intelligent. Frightening for sure, even for seasoned horror fans. Buy with the downloadable content! Worth every penny. You’ll thank me later. This is to the horror genre what RE1 and RE4 were once upon a time, but this gem is of its own and imaginative beyond what RE series can deliver and mostly has. I recently purchased this game, and I am very impressed so far. It has just the right amount of jump scares, puzzle solving and combat. If you are a fan of the psychological horror genre, I would recommend this game.

This game gave me the chills and they are multiplying. I love thrillers and scary games. And i was on the hunt for my next survival adventure and i came across this super GEM, beautiful graphics, superior sound, keeps the suspense going glad i got it. Pros: Super scary Amazing sound and visuals Very good pace never a dull moment Cons: None I have played similar games like Resident evil, dead by daylight, silent hill,and this falls right in line with amazing jump scares. i would highly recommend it.
