The double flaps are held closed with 5 times stronger Alnico magnets and nylon brush weather stripping keeps dust and insects out while keeping inside air in. Hale Door Pet Doors fit doors that are 1 3/8" to 2" thick. The corners are reinforced with steel for years of trouble free use.
